Yeah but they're obviously not the only publisher to suffer are they, Capcom are just the first to admit it.
The PS3 has been Sony's worst of their 3 home consoles.
Try playing it first before commenting.
Fail
If it's Syndicate then it's definitely in good hands, I really rate Starbreeze as a developer. Shame Molyneux won't be involved though.
No it's definitely confirmed that they've canned development of one of the most anticipated games in years and their most lucrative franchise, makes complete and total sense... -_-
Don't get your hopes up, their source is dated from April 27, and since then Sony have confirmed there won't be any new features.
Question is, why would they be implementing new features anyway? The number one priority should be getting the network back online.
Funny how you're both trolling games you probably haven't even played.
Some people don't, that's the trouble.
These apologies are starting to wear thin. As if the outage isn't bad enough, they've made a rod for their own backs by setting and date and being unable to commit to it.
2 and a half weeks and nothing, PSN security must've been an absolute mess for it to take this long. They should've just announced that it will be back up when it's ready, rather than missing deadlines and pissing customers off further.
I doubt it, when they announced it last E3 it wasn't part of the Kinect presentation. It's more likely a Kinect-compatible game.
Yeah but many national news reports have claimed that the attack affects 77 million people. Now we all know that's inaccurate but you can see how the media has spun the stats against Sony.
Fanboys defend their consoles and exclusives, obviously they will defend this.
You don't need to innovate as long as you get the basics right. That's why Xbox Live is so successful.
Deliberate or not, it works in the context of the game. You don't need Godfather-style writing to create memorable characters, just look at games like Resident Evil - some of the worst writing in video game history, and yet even today Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield are household names.
Uncharted's writing isn't much better in all honesty. Just because Nathan Drake utters some hit and miss one-liners doesn't make him a deep, well-rounded character. It's ...
@ Trey
You obviously didn't read the bit immediately afterwards where he says "but obviously I'm biased". In fact, I'd hazard a guess that you didn't read the article at all.
Marcus, Dom, Cole and Baird are all oddly likable characters. I think that their cheesy, overly-macho dialog adds to their charm.
When they first announced Kinect - if anyone's memory stretches a whole 2 years back - they showed the concept of scanning objects into games and using them as a peripheral. Forza is just realizing this concept.
All the party features like universal invites and cross game chat. Makes connecting with friends so much easier than PSN.
