Right but installing ANY game on the 360 is entirely optional.
Good thing it's optional, I know a few people with 360s that still don't have a hard drive.
Right but you're talking like they're all going to be brilliant games. Everyone talked up the likes of SOCOM and Killzone 3 GOTY contenders and look how they turned out. I get the feeling that Starhawk and Twisted Metal will be mediocre, the rest I have very high hopes for.
Not in terms of volume, but absolutely in terms of quality. Gears 3 and Forza 4 are nailed on triple A titles, and a new Alan Wake has also been confirmed for this year. Plus there's also the chance of a Halo CE remake.
That guy looks like he could be one of the Gears.
Nah but I think you will start to see more Kinect/controller hybrids like Forza 4.
Unfortunately EA own the rights to Populous.
At least its finishing to coincide with the release of LA Noire.
@ jaosobno
Then how do you explain Portal 2 selling better on the 360 then?
People should just be patient and give it a day or so rather than all trying to sign in the second they announce it's back up.
It clearly says "FOR SOME".
Well the alternative was to cram it onto one disc and cut content for both versions. I'm sure that would've gone down well.
Also I don't know why they're complaining about Lost Odyssey. The version I played had multiple tray packaging.
@ Nitrowolf
So you'd rather spend 20-45 minutes waiting for a game you've just bought to install than spend 30 seconds swapping discs some way into the game?
I don't have a problem with installs themselves, I install all my 360 games, but I usually do it after my first play of the game. Having to sit though an install of a game you're eagerly waiting to play is hugely frustrating.
I think it's the right thing to do. On many occasions where the 360 is the lead platform the PS3 versions has suffered, but when it's the other way around they are pretty much identical (people who think that one version is better than the other because of the odd sharper pixel is just an idiot).
You say that like Kinect Sports is a bad game...
@ infamous
No one posts worldwide numbers, not on a monthly basis anyway. Sony and Nintendo never talk about worldwide numbers either.
The common perception is that Brotherhood and Revelations aren't true installment because they aren't numbered, when in fact they're as much true installments as AC1 and 2 are.
I felt the same way as you when this was first announced, but I think it's important to retain the likes of Ezio and Altair rather than moving to a totally different time period with another random hooded assassin. They're moving it to a new setting across two time periods as well, ...
That's only because some platform exclusive publications (PC Gamer, Xbox World etc.) might have though less of the game than others, because it's the exact same game across the three platforms.
Yeah they usually add major features in the fall update. Paypal is a nice addition anyway.
Actually I still think it will sell more on the 360, most multiplatform titles do.
