Was it? I was under the impression that they'd taken out all the blood effects and lowered the difficulty.

CoD4 might have been innovative, but Black Ops is the most refined, balanced CoD yet. Getting rid of stupid perks like martyrdom and juggernaut, as well as removing other features like the runner class and to a certain extent quick scoping make for more skill and less cheap kills. The RC Car being a 3 kill streak is the only thing I'd change in Black Ops.
Same here, so it's clearly not "down".
Just like the Witcher 1?
As much as Assassin's Creed is promoted like it's a PS3 exclusive. Most multiplatform games are promoted platform specifically because of marketing deals they make with the platform holders. It's not evidence that the promoted version will be better than other versions though.
Big releases like Halo and Call of Duty don't need pre-release demos to sell huge amounts. It's 6 months or so later when sales begin a steep fall that they capitalize on latecomers with a demo. Not everyone buys games the week they're released.
According to my Splinter Cell Conviction box it was supposed to start last summer.
Fair enough if you're not interested but don't talk like everyone is going to agree with you. I bought every CoD since World at War - yeah much of it is recycled but it's still a winning formula that most people I game with enjoy. If anything I will be buying MW3 because of the story and it's characters that they have established, and you can pretty much guarantee that you will get your money's worth.
I personally think ODST had the best campaign. I just loved the neon art style and more subdued atmosphere.
I didn't think much of the campaigns for Halo 3 and Reach, but they both had amazing multiplayer to make up for it.
It's not even announced yet and it's already being burdened with hype. I think we the fans will be the judge of whether it could potentially be an AAA title.
It's more a question of "Can Microsoft satisfy it's audience for the year ahead?" The answer from last year's E3 press conference was a resounding no because of the emphasis on Kinect and its casual titles. Hopefully there will be a more even mix this time round.
Just to tease Halo 4 would be a massive win in my book.
Hopefully it will be for the 360 and PS3 versions too, I mean Activision can afford dedicated servers for all three platforms given the amount of money that CoD generates for them every year.
Outstanding, watch people change their tune about this game now.
The underground city sounds amazing, I can envisage a more claustrophobic atmosphere.
Yeah but all those examples are exclusives. The video argues that multiplatform developers don't have the resources to invest heavily in the PS3 architecture, so you're getting multiplatform games will are often of the same quality (and sometimes worse) then their 360 counterparts, rather than looking much better. It's nothing to do with talent and enthusiasm, some smaller developers simply can't afford to bring out the best in the PS3.
"Better glass"
...
I think you're just being paranoid.
The same reason people bought the Resident Evil or MGS Twin Snakes for the Gamecube.
The fact that Halo CE didn't have online multiplayer would be a big incentive to remake it. Plus the obvious graphical leap (if they intend to convert it to the Reach engine).
It's posted for the consumption of information, not for Xbox fanboys to laugh at you. Why it even concerns you is the real question.
Altair will be in Revelations.
