Read enough of these articles and comments, and a common theme emerges: The arguments of the xbots trying to bash the PS3 always focus on trivial issues that have nothing to do with the actual gaming/entertainment experience. "It's too expensive"; "Ha ha, the 360 has sold more"; etc.
Best build quality, period. Most storage space allowing for the biggest games with the most content. Standard hard drive for superior gaming options, without fracturing the ...
I smell another stock market crash.
Sell! Sell! Sell!

Gee, that was predictable. Do all xbots go to some MS school up in Washington where they're all drilled with the same idiotic arguments? I swear, you see the exact same series of statements hundreds of times.
The point isn't whether or not Eye of Judgment is your type of game. But rather that it's one of many games, in diverse genres, that are only available on the PS3. And for which there is nothing even close on the 360. That list will only get longer with Lit...
"In terms of games right now xbox has the best selection of games"
It's truly amazing how people state this as fact, as if repeating it often enough will make it true. Just like they endlessly repeated that Cell couldn't handle AI or physics, or how Blu-ray was slower than DVD, or how Sony would HAVE to charge for online gaming.
Sorry to burst any bubbles, but this "argument" was put to rest months ago. Just about every sports game is availa...
ZOMG the 360 is so hard to develop for! Where the hell has MS developer support been, and why did it take them 2+ years to get a tool like this to developers? Does this mean that 360 developers aren't going to be able to continue to do things in the same old PC-centric way, without getting left in the dust? Perhaps if some of them were already familiar with multi-threaded programming, there wouldn't be so many issues with "AAA" (*cough*) titles like Mass Effect.

Hahahaha! That's classic!
Nostradavis: "What? I never said this was "news", I just thought I was doing the world a service by posting something old to make it sound new and controversial. I never said that Sony made this phone. All I said was that it's a PS3 phone. If you can't tell the difference then you're a poopy-head who could never get a date with a girl. So neener-neener, haha made you read it! And I'm on the front page of N4G - I am immortal!"...

Compare Mass Effect to Uncharted, and you get a true sense of where the state of console gaming is. Along with the over-hyped mediocrity that was Halo 3, Mass Effect shows the "true potential" of the Xbox 360. That's it folks, there ain't no more. Get used to looong load times, poor frame rates, less-than-HD, and texture pop-in. Even the reviewers agree by giving this game a "10" - what they mean is "360 games can't possibly get...
Ya see, now that's the kinda reaction that "Nostradavis" was hoping to get. Make the title sound like this is actually a Sony product using MS software, and playing nintendo games, and whammo! - you've pressed everybody's buttons. And you can count on plenty of idiot Sony-haters like "goldenzealot" who lack the ability to read or think critically, and next thing you know your little stir-up-the-pot post has reached 710 degrees - woo-hoo!
Hahaha! I see... YOU'RE the d1ckless wonder who posted this crap. That would explain the venom in your responses to this thread.
Nice try, though. Keep trawling the internet, and I'm sure you can tie Sony and the PS3 to world hunger.
"Wheee! Look at me! I posted something CONTROVERSIAL, and got people to react. Yay me!"
Smooches!
Yet another internet scrap with a deliberately misleading title, which gets far too much traffic.
This has nothing to do with Sony or the PS3.

Hehehe. Another day and another desperate attempt to spin things in favor of the failing HD-DVD format. This is like a bad soap opera, that can't be over soon enough.
Who the hell writes this crap? I haven't "defended" my purchase nor "sobbed" once during the past year I've had my PS3. I've played many great games, and there are many more that I simply haven't had time to yet. I've also enjoyed experimenting with Linux, web browsing, viewing photos & videos, listening to music, etc.
Uncharted is a great game, fun as hell, and an absolute work of art that will be looked back on as a high watermark in interactive ent...
ZOMG! A common misconception about the PS3?!?!
You mean if we keep saying things over and over, it doesn't make them true? Blu-ray is slower than DVD; Cell can't handle AI or physics; there's no way the 360's defect rate is anywhere near 30%;... ???
You've blown my mind.
Gawd, every single day brings at least three more "articles" linked to by every useless gaming site, trying to convince the world how badly Sony is doing.
How about these sites do their readers an actual service, and provide some useful information instead? Like maybe a follow-up on the latest failure rates for the Xbox 360. Or the status of the various private and class-action suits against Microsoft for the product-recall-that-wasn't.
Sounds like ...
Stop posting stories about hardware or software sales without indicating which region(s) are being included.
Christ.
It's too bad that more websites, including N4G, don't do their own filtering of crap like this, before re-posting it in the first place. Any snot-nosed kid (or Microsoft employee) can sling whatever crap comes to mind, and its instantly spread by sites like N4G without a moment's pause.
Isn't it very telling that we see so many of these aimed at the PS3, and not the other two consoles? Says a lot about the type of people that prefer the competition.
"Gamers dont care about f*cking themes and other such sh*t. I want to be able to talk to my friends playing motorstorm while I am playing COD:4."
Speak for yourself, "gamer". What the hell is it, exactly, that you want to talk to your friends about, when you're each in the middle of a different game? Sharing recipes? Christ - get a cell phone! You're the only one who cares about such f*cking sh*t. Get over it, already.

Spoken like a true "dork", who's probably never personally seen any of the capabilities of the XMB or the PSN.
$Cha-ching!$
Weee! More grist for all the haters. Why not this: every time there's another one of these internet storms about what the PS3 can't do, we give equal time to all of the features it has that the Wii and Xbox don't?
Where's that web browser? Or opening up the system á la Linux? Or scrollable motion-video icons? Or cool photo slideshow options? Or hi-def movies? Or free online gaming? Or something useful during system downtime, á la Folding@Home? Or remote play...

Ooh! Ooh! We've got a new one, everybody. "PS3 online lags". Another fabrication pulled out of thin air that we can keep repeating, and get everyone including ourselves to believe it. C'mon, we need to come up with something, as all the other myths have been thoroughly discredited.
Consider the source: a fanboy who still says the PS3 costs $600, and has obviously zero first-hand experience with Uncharted. Evidently it really sticks in the craw of some...
