I feel that he is just a pretty boy prince who has been pampered and raised in luxury. Maybe that is why looks he feminine. Besides, perceived feminine and masculine characteristics and physical characteristics vary from culture to culture anyway. No big deal IMO. I dont care about his appearance but his story and the world.
Damn, people really lack common sense. I meant they were popular/iconic characters; not "memorable characters in RPGs." It is not like I am calling those differetn genres of games RPGs. Idiots.
You people remind me of Confucius's quote,
"When the wise man points at the moon, the imbecile stares at his finger."
You guys are doing exactly that. Not seeing the point of my statement and laughing thinking I just called Uncharted, Go...
The short answer is that there are no concrete details as of right now. SE have not even cleared up what they mean by "multipart." Multiple episodes? Trilogy ala Mass Effect? Quadrology? Length of each part? Price of each part? Nothing is known. Maybe they dont know it themselves yet and are still deciding based on fanbase reaction and feedback. They will surely want to squeeze as much money as possible but they will try not cause any major backlash or outrage.
I think story, characters and a compelling world/lore are the most important part of an RPG. That makes Witcher 3 a better RPG IMO. Many argue that Fallout is not even an RPG; it is more of a sandbox openworld shooter with light RPG mechanics.
The story and characters always take a backseat in Bethesda games. There isnt much of a story and you cant impact it much with your choices. Never heard of a single good story or a popular character from a Bethesda game like Geralt, Mas...
Well sometimes it is easier to downgrade and only a software patch by a hacker can do it. While at other times you may definitely need a hardware flasher. Moreover, once the slim version arrives the exploit is eliminated permanently and you cannot downgrade it even with a hardware flasher. Hacker get back to square one and start again.
It means that scene developers (hackers) have found a way to build and install their own custom built firmwares, with additional functionalities not offered by Sony, on PS4s with firmware upto 1.76. One of those functionalities include running game backups or piracy. Other include media players, file managers, emulators, custom themes, PS1 or 2 classics and other handy software. However, you cant update or play online once you install a custom firmware made by a hacker. You can premanently ge...
it has already been patched out a year ago. It only work on PS4s with upto FW 1.76 which was released in September 2014.
What do you mean by "cant catch a break?" What other catastrophe has hit PS4 recently? Anyway, it has already been patched a year ago. The exploit only works on FW 1.76 and PS4 is at 3.00. You cannot downgrade so the exploit will only work if you find a PS4 with lower FW version lying around in some store. Besides the exploit only means that the hackers can build CFW for it one day which will be able to run backups if you have a 1.76 FW. The CFW then takes years to reach a stable bu...
Good Luck! :D
Why not compare home consoles to home consoles instead of handheld to home consoles. iPhone sells more than PS4 or Xbox One too. They are apples and oranges.
You guys really have a tunnel vision and selective memory, dont you? We were hearing similar claims when the Wii U was about to launch. It was supposed to leave PS360 in dust and get all the definitive versions of third party games. It was also going to be comparable to PS4 and Xbox One in power as the graphics were not going to improve much anymore. Wii U's GPGPU was going to be revolutionary and produce unbelievable visuals. Look how all of that turned out. From all the information that...
Agreed. You get no feedback through the sense of touch and dont know if you hit the button or not. Or if your thumb is even on the button anymore or not. Tried playing PS1 games on my smartphone but it is a real hassle. I stray away from the button frequently and have to look where the buttons are because I cant feel them.
@detox
Lets not resort to personal attacks and insults. That is what truly sad and pathetic people do. They are so immature that they are hurt by their console of choice underperforming and others pointing it out. They feel the need to defend a plastic box and attack others to feel content.
Gamers care about sales because more sales mean more support. More hardware sales mean more software support and more software sales mean more support for the franchise. I...
Some of these guys are really fine to be screwed and dont mind. They want others to bend over quietly and "quit whining" too. How can somebody be such an apologist and so much submissive to their overlords. :-/ They are willing to wait 5 or even 10 YEARS for a game after backing it up! Your whole world changes in 5 to 10 years! Who knows if you will even be alive by then!
There are still some comments on that page who are happy with nothing to show after 2.5 years a...
I completely agree as well. I am just amazed everytime I see my physical version of Witcher 3. Such awesome packaging and goodies. I didnt even wanted to open it when I bought it. Lol. On the other hand, you barely a game disc in a plastic casing with other developers and publishers. CDProject are one of the very few developers who still work with passion and dedication in their hearts and not with dollar signs in their eyes.
I said it several months ago but kickstarter fans did not like it. They defended the delays in the name of being normal and patience. I responded that let us just wait. Tell me when it actually releases. Now look at it several months later. No progress, no physical rewards and no game in sight. Fanboyism truly blinds people from the truth.
I was really excited about this game but when there was nothing after two whole years and all deadlines were missed, I knew it that it wou...
@n4rc
That is the sad point. Xbox One owners opted for multiplats instead of their touted exclusives. What was the point of that timed exclusivity for ROTR, lumping all of them together for holiday season and all that marketing blitz? The games failed to perform in the market after all that hype and marketing.
I never said sales equalled quality but we are not discussing quality here. No doubt they are good games but we are discussing the holiday season sales...
Yep, the "greatest games lineup in history" did not do anything to boost Xbox One's fortunes. Even the games themselves did not sell as Xbox One owners opted for multiplat games instead of their own exclusivves. Forza 6 and ROTR did not even chart in NPD despite the reviews, marketing and hype.
All of the Xbox exclusives have flopped commercially except Halo 5. Even that is in decline compared to previous entries. Forza 6 and ROTR both did not even chart in the NPD, Xbox One's home territory. The "greatest games lineup in history' truly met a sad fate. Looks like the customers did not find it great enough to actually buy despite all the hype and marketing.
Xbox is just designed with the western audience in mind. Similarly most of its exclusives are designed to appeal to western audiences as well. The way the characters (both male and female) look and behave, the way the games play and the stories (or lack thereof) are designed according to western audiences. As a result, the Xbox and its games dont sell in the east.
It is no wonder that Kojima went with the company which can appeal to both the east and the west. He also always ...
