Thank you for the suggestion but cartoony games with anthropomorphic animals and gaudy music just do not appeal to me anymore regardless of their quality. Yeah, the difference isnt as big as last gen but that is a compromise we have to make for affordable hardware. We would not be paying $350 or $400 for the consoles if they had put 5TF GPUs and core i7s in there. Console manufacturers have to strike a balance between cost and price unlike PCs where customers can custom build according to their budget. Nobody would buy $1,000 consoles.

Same here. Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition is such a good deal. You get $140 worth of content for JUST $60! I know that the existing customers might be feeling ripped off for paying that much since launch but the new customers are getting an awesome deal. I knew they would release something like this so I waited too. I love RPGs and Destiny is the right kind of FPS for me. As an RPG player I am already used to grinding and farming and putting 10s and 100s of hours into a game.

It depends upon how the developer chooses to use that extra power. For example, Driveclub, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Order 1886 are light years ahead of anything on last gen hardware. There is massive difference in graphics between current gen and last gen Dragon Age Inquisition; I played both.

Oh yes! Have been waiting for this for so long! Just bought Child of Light at 70% discount!! Only $4.50! I loved that game on my PS3 and wanted it on PS4 but did not want to pay the full price. Now I can finally play it again and listen to that beautiful soundtrack! :D
