It isnt about excuses. It is about logic and common sense. Star Wars had a PS4 bundle and bundled copies do not count towards NPD sales chart. Many people just bought the PS4 bundle so the sales of those bundled copies were not counted in NPD software chart. On the other hand, all the sales on Xbox One were stand alone copies so all of them counted towards NPD chart. Hence the apparently more copies sold on Xbox One.

So you are refuting the actual article and a generally known fact while making your own claims? On what basis? How do you know they count towards NPDsoftware sales chart when everybody says they dont? Any proof or you are just pulling that statement out of thin air?
Knew it as soon as I read that "5.7 million units sold during holiday season" news a week ago.There is no way to top that. Congrats to Sony and Playstation fans. It can only mean more games for PS4 owners as more and more studios throw their exclusive support behind PS4. 2016 is already looking to be a phenomenal year for PS4 owners.

I remember the days when Ubisoft was respectable similar to how CDProject or Naughty Dog is today. The era when they released Prince of Persia Sands of Time, Splinter Cell and Beyond Good and Evil. Everybody loved them for their high quality games. These days they are just another greedy corporation looking to squeeze as much money out of gamers as possible. Me too and intend to buy it at a better sale. But I have also heard that there is no combat of any kind in the game. Just hiding and solving puzzles. That was a surprise for me. Still I intend to purchase it because the story is often lauded.
I agree that it is expensive when you look at it from a consumer's point of view; they are to expensive for me to afford. However, one has to consider how much they cost to manufacture. I do not think a VR headset is cheap to manufacture with their processor, HD displays, motion sensors and other hi-tech components. Prices are according to how much the product costs to manufacture.

There actually several SE games that took hell of a long time to release. I am talking from experience and not just generalizing. You just need to be around longer like me to see a trend. Man the game is not as bad as the haters make it out to be. It is not great but it is not horrible either. The game is not broken, glitchy or buggy. The graphics are awesome, the story is good, art style is great and characters are interesting. It is just short and is heavy on cutscenes. Sounds that way... Still just year of "preparations???" What about the "year of release?" Seriously, SE takes TOO MUCH time releasing their games! They have a hell of a long development cycles and work at a snail's pace. ON the other hand, massive games like Witcher 3 are announced, go gold and released during the same period.
