As I read the comments both sides of the argument are right. It is refreshing to see a series reinvent itself. It's not a bad thing to try new things. On the other hand, you can't say RE7 is going back to it's roots. If no one told you it was RE7, you would never have guessed it after playing the demo. SNES if my favorite. It is still to this day the best christmas present I ever received. I will never forget how amazing the fireworks looked at the end of Super Mario World. It was also the console that hooked me on rpgs with Final Fantasy II. So many games were released on that system that are still classics today.
