LOL, you upgrade your console every 5-7 yrs. When you do get that shiny new console it has 3yr old pc tech in it. Not to mention 1/2 of your purchased games may or may not work and oftem show very little improvement. If you were to get this type of a remaster from sony, it would cost you another $70. PC can run pretty much any game ever made and will give you the option to remaster it as little or as much as you like for FREE. PC sets the bar and your console attempts the bar 3yrs later.

How about a real look at it. The switch 2 has sold 2.08 million in the US. There are an estimated 205 million gamers in the US. So 1% of gamers in the US have bought a switch 2. If you compare sales of a new console up against consoles that have been on the market for at least 5yrs, sure its going to have bigger numbers. Its the lastest thing. If only 2 million of 205 million are playing a switch 2, what are the other 203 million gamers playing?

Where are all the "I want to own my games" comments that plagued gamepass? Guess its ok to rent your console, so long as you buy your games. LOL

Lol, theres nothing to charge for. It already looked good on pc.

@ABizzel1
You nailed it right on the head and its the exact reason every Nintendo system since the GC has been hacked with in months of new system launching. Its the same shit, so hackers port over knowledge from the last console and bam, Nintendos systems get hacked fast! How long ya think it will be until switch 2 is running on pc? Or "One key card to rule them all!"lol

To me, D4 is like Need 4 Speed. Fast action, arcade game play. Where as PoE is more GT or Forza. Being able to strafe around your enemy while attacking is what immediately got me hooked.

I never understood why people care how others enjoy their games. Now in a pvp mode I can see, but pve? Sounds like jealousy to me.

Lol! go ahead and piss on the pc people. They will just pirate your shit then!

This is the absolute truth. The only part of you these companies, ALL companies, want to be friends with is your bank account. They don't care what they have to say, who's job they have to cut, or what shady underhandedness they must engage in. Bottom line is all that matters.

They call that a crack head! Thats what this is really about, its an addiction. People who dont smoke cigarettes look and laugh at the addicts that spend $8-$10 a pack, but they cant help themselves, they are addicted. That same analogy applies perfectly to the whole MT industry. Only an addict that was not thinking clearly would spend this kind of money on something so frivolous. A round of multiplayer provides the same high a person gets from scratching a lotto ticket, or putting money ...

Do you even know how ignorant that statement is? The first Xbox built the industry standard for what consoles do today. At the time everyone laughed at microsoft for putting a broad band only connection in the console. How many consoles do you remember hooking a phone line to (that worked worth a shit)? Broad band has been the standard ever since. The Xbox had a 8gb hdd built in on day one. In an era in which Sony and Nintendo were making you pay $50 for a 256MB memory card. Once again ...

For me, its less about time and more about these games not keeping my interest. That comes from too many games using the same mechanics or are the same type of game as others, just basically reskinned. For instance, how much difference is there really between all the survival games? They use the same mechanics of harvest said resource, craft, build, etc. Its not just survival games either. How many "Souls like" games are they? How many "rouge like" games? My point bei...

Got a 3080ti and I can say that it runs rougher than a night in jail. Does not help to turn the settings down either. I got the same frame rate on epic as I did medium. I dont even bother with ray tracing. If a game cant run 80-100 fps with out ray tracing, dont bother switching it on if you care anything about keeping fps in the 45-60 range. RTX unmercifully slaughters frame rates.

I don't understand how they didn't know this wouldn't go over well with long time fans. No to mention, why? What does it hurt to have in the game. I mean you have always had to option to turn it off anyways. Makes no sense to limit options, especially long time options fan are used to.

I sure do, back before Bioware was tainted by EA's filthy hands.

I am super surprised that a total remake of the first DMC, in the vein of the latest Resident Evil titles, hasn't been revealed.

Its ironic that the whole games as a service is basically a carrot on a stick, trying to get players to keep chasing. When in reality these companies are chasing a carrot on a stick, trying to make GAAS work. How long will they chase that carrot before they figure out they will never get it to work. Its a bad business model for companies and consumers. Just like the motion control craze 15yrs ago, it will eventually pass.

Man yall will just say anything to fit this hate gampass narrative won't you? It has nothing to do with players not caring cuz they didn't pay for it (just a stupid comment) or that its a "throw away exp." some how caused by gamepass. Did ever occur to your closed small minds, that those numbers wouldn't have been that high in the first place. By it being free on gamepass, people that would have never threw down $60 for that type of game in the first place, got to try...
