Is it safe to say Assassin's Creed Syndicate is one of the most polarizing games to ever release?
Meh, I don't think he'll do anything at all about it. If you are a politician you always have to side with what is popular whether you know it or not.
Because everyone loves to be in their own echo chamber of hate
I'm assuming if they completely gut the current style of Far Cry they'll fill it with something self.
Lol, no.
I'm just excited for the game
A couple of things of note here:
The modern day is Unity-esque but seems to be somewhat
thought out in terms of actual story line.
That's a hell of an opening monologue by the Indian guy.
Of course the people that actually get the game early have trouble in goddamn learning level.
The Framerate is smooth and the game is noticeably less blurry than the E3 previews.
Lighting is second to none and i...
Lol, no. I don't see the GTA V hype either, it's not a 10/10 or even the best game in the series.
Corrupted save files, 20 fps lock in the swamp, a handful of crashes, LOD failures in Novigrad, texturing and physics failures on NPCs to name a few.
That's because we've hit a point we're technology isn't a barrier that affects gameplay. That's all that happened. Besides, AAA games aren't going to be artsy and are therefore grounded in some aspects.
People buy the game's they want and there is a reason why AAA games are like they are.
The maritimes really need a break.
The Witcher 3 is the most broken games I've ever played, but I'll be damned if it isn't a good one.
Because all the games AAA games people buy demand the R&D. People complain about graphics but fact is to make games look that good and be that big you need big budgets. It's like movies, modern blockbusters literally cannot happen without the massive budgets.
Look at it this way, games have cost $60 US since the 1990s and in some cases cost even more. That doesn't even figure in inflation. Moreover, games cost infinitely less to develop. Crysis and Assassin's Creed 2 cost $20 million to produce, Crysis 3 cost $66 million and AC 4 cost $100 million after all the porting and remastering was finished. That happened in less than a decade. Crytek is in financial disarray and a few years ago Ubisoft swung to a loss. These are businesses, so wha...
@HaveSumNuts Cough Cough *Killzone 3* Cough Cough
There E3 showing was pretty pathetic
@Kal-V3 it's still ridiculous to believe patches can take up so much space relative to their fixes and original file sizes. Besides, this is by no means the first massive patch to launch for The Witcher 3. It's a great game, but the patching has been beyond ridiculous.
15gb for a patch is absurd and unreasonable. The Witcher 3 file size has got to be 60gb by now. Up from a release of 35gb. It should honestly be frowned upon.
Clearly not very important if you look at single player games releasing this year.
I can't wait for next year's AC to disappoint only for the entry immediately after to redeem the series.
