Far Cry, Rainbow 6, The Division, Assassin’s Creed, etc. Really all the same things, can't tell a difference.

I wonder if the new ip they're showing is at this year's E3

Tldr he's talking about Poland and the entire Witcher franchise. A franchise which was pretty much non-existent on consoles until 3.

I never understood the almost religious aura around Steam. Honestly, things like GOG, Origin, Uplay, etc work fine.

Like bruh, you can't even tell when you look at it.

Far Cry 5 is reportedly already in development. I think they just made Primal cause they had a bunch of free employees

3744d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

Eh, it's reported Far Cry 5 has been in development before Primal even released. I wouldn't be surprised if they just made Primal so they wouldn't have to layoff workers until other projects hit large scale production.

However you think games are developed, you're very wrong.

It's Assassin’s Creed Syndicate DLC...

The game's probably buggy. That's usually why games get delayed for short periods.

Naughty Dog recognized the issue and adjusted with more open ended levels. It'll be fine.

They're already doing that

It's denuvo or always online. I'd rather have denuvo.

The engines are the same in those cases and many assets are redone with far higher polygon counts. It would be stupid to try to port the assets and completely redo them. Keep in mind Osiris was likely supposed to come out in 2012 or 2013, so it would look like horrible by 2017. (AC Empire's supposed release year)

Osiris was a 360/PS3 game likely built on the old Anvil engine. The assets would be dated and on a completely different engine.

3783d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

No. Osiris was a scrapped game that took place in Egypt. Empire is an AC game in Egypt, similarities end there.
