Why do you need a 3DS? Did your DS break and you need something new to play Black/White on?
Unfortunately that is for the PC. It would be nice if MS & Sony could streamline the process of inspecting/approving patchs for games, especially the blockbuster-console-selling types from big publishers that need to be tweaked.

I never said it was ok, did I Disagreers? I hate it, I'm just telling it like it is. The only way it will stop is if it becomes unprofitable for them, which it won't because it costs them little to nothing to produce DLC in the vein of apparel, and they enter into marketing agreements with other big companies (beverage, toy, etc) which in the current market equates to win/win for both.

Just because it is on the disc doesn't mean they have to give it to you. We live in the age of DLC, its not changing any time soon. Whether it is a Mountain Dew (Double XP for MW3) or Dr. Pepper (DLC Code for ME2), or now an action figure (in the same vein as Skylanders), as long as it is profitable the big publishers will keep pushing the limits.
Think bottom line, my friend.
Here is how Square Enix can make money: copy the Activision/MW3 business model.
Instead of working on FF 15/16/etc, just remake FF 7 each year. Year one, make it HD. The next give it a slight upgrade, maybe new CGI movies (thats all the game was good for anyway). Then upgrade a little again the next year, new summons, all while hyping it up to the millions of people pining for a re-release. Also add in some DLC for new skins. In all seriousness, the original RPGs made you heal on the fly in turned based combat. Tiamat would laugh at you if you tried to paused the game to heal in FF1.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Dark Souls has ruined my perception of games (in a good way!).
#6) Eating 85 potatoes while a pack of ice wolves patiently waits for you to be done. Pausing the game is one thing. Pausing the entire world while managing equipment is another thing, though it should be discouraged. Pausing to heal destroys immersion.
I put in a LOT of time, and finally beat it. It is worth it.

Personally, I'm not impressed. Graphics were cartoony, but nicely stylized. I ran through the entire demo with no armor and had zero problem anywhere, except with the controls.

So let me get this right... Activison is the devil for selling map packs but EA Can sell dog tags which is totally cosmetic for $3 and it's ok? Amazing.
What they really need to do is make each and every gun unique, and not have iron-sights be the only difference. Every gun feels the same in MW3 except the AK47, that one has some recoil. Everything else is a flipping laser beam with hardly any recoil. Start there. Make me care about using a particular weapon and mastering it instead of using what has the least recoil.

One ending has some dialogue, the other doesn't but you know what you're getting into from previous NPC encounters.
The ending of DS is really just the beginning.
They're not going to re-publish a $30 book this far removed from launch. I can see them releasing an addendum PDF with updated content because the updates/patches they made were more tweeks than game-changing-guide-destroying -chage-the-ending updates.
