I've heard the same things over and over again, Hell, people were calling Shaun White a flop and that game ended up selling more on Wii than the 2 HD counterparts combined. As you mentioned, W@W, forget about it, there was articles popping up left and right about how those games can't sell on the Wii and now its a platinum + title. By the end of April the game will have sold half a million.

We are getting plenty of garbage articles lately. I didn't know No More Heroes sold badly..Hell, it has a sequel in the pipeline, and I do believe that game had a smaller opening week than Madworld. If you are going to discount the games that prove third parties and "hardcore" games do sell on the system then don't even bother writing such a nonsensical article. I don't even know what a "Hardcore" game is anyway.

Now see, these series' are both masterpieces, and every game is great. Though some are better than others, no game in the series sucks. They are the epitome of greatness in the gaming world. To have to choose between Super Metroid and A Link to The Past is damn near impossible. Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask Vs Prime 1 and 2? Then you have the Twilight Princess and Corruption the two games that perfected the formula in their respective games. Tough call.

If the Wii is stumbling and failing as many articles and bs that gets passed off as news around here is true..then what exactly are the ps3 or 360 doing? I mean in the month of RE5, a huge title did virtually nothing to spur HW sales on any of those platforms, not to mention the Wii outsold both competitors in the month of March combined.

I heard this all before. How many games have been called flops before on the Wii or DS only to sell very good to excellent? I mean does it really bring satisfaction to call a game a flop? GTA on DS was on sale about 2 wks and is known or rumored to be suspect to pirating. I honestly think that has something to do with its sales, but so what? M$ runs their mouth as if they are the marketleader in any region across the globe, when in fact they are not. Wii is whooping both HD platforms month in and month out.
