The funny thing is we have all types of negative articles trying to somehow paint the Wii as in trouble, yet all I see here is + + + +. The other Console makers WISH they could post reports as rosy as this. Looking forward to Sony's and M-$'s report...

So sure this is true. It sounds nice and its a subtle marketing chip.

True indeed; but that was a result of resource allocation being greater, no? But you are right, we will see. I for one am puzzled as how these publishing giants can record record revenue and be in the deep red. They've said that they were shifting more focus to the Wii so we'll see if they can start doggy paddling back towards the black.

For turning their back on the "hardcore" gamers..whatever the fu*& that means. Hell, why wait til their next system to copy Wii? There are already rumors that its happening as we speak.

I see it this way; take the Wii out of the equation, and the growth is erased, and all "hardcore" gamers are left with is a shrinking pool.

Yeah, because all the loses accued by EA is the last few quarters were because HD fans weren't.

After clicking that link, it seems this battle is long over..For a console that is said by fanboys to be destroying the industry, raw numbers show that it is in fact quite the opposite...

Absolutely. Interesting though, considering Wii releases from them have been half assed. I think the amazing thing with Wii third party software, is that it gets the scraps and sells the most third party software. The idea that it doesn't is fabricated by Nintendo's competitors, as they NEED third parties. EA is now backing Wii more, the proof is in the pudding; Grand Slam and Tiger are going to be very big for them.

The other companies are looking into it, but the problem is anything they do will be seen as something tacked on to "copy" Nintendo. Also, alot of the fans (fanboys lol) will feel alienated, as the "gimmick" Nintendo created has influenced their platform of choice.

"I mean when I think about it the motion+ almost seems like the Wii2 in my eyes, and yes it is that good." Couldn't agree more.

As for the trailer itself, why do people think that is CGI? Looks in game to me, that is what great art direction and smooth (60fps) animation can do. I am really looking forward to this game and specifically WM+. I think WM+ will start the "flood" much like what happened to the DS.

It was said before, once third part...

Also, I don't think Wii gamers are missing out on much..Tekken and Soul Calibur? Their best days are behind them.

So, So sad.

For the Hardcore? You mean the internet geeks? Wii don't need them. The Wii may in fact become the "Hardcore" sweet heart, when all is said and done. Look at the DS.

Except..Exactly.

In order for this to make sense you have to ignore the things like facts and sales to do so. MadWorld is selling steadily, and will undoubtedly become a profitable game for Platinum. It will do Numbers similar to or greater than No More Heroes.

To that. I'm looking really forward to what this game has to offer. When did gamers become such b!tchy whiners and complainers? I think it was when the whole "casual vs hardcore" debate started popping up, which is also right around the time Wii started to dominate. Any way, this may be the first M+ game that gets sword fighting down, if that is the case, don't even bother calling yourself a gamer if that doesn't get you hype.

The Wii is begining to fill its library u...

This doesn't look as bad as I originally thought. Let's see if they add some fresh gameplay elements...
