Someone is seriously doubting the competence of 3rd parties. Additionally, if you look at the games coming to Wii U, you will find they play better than their current gen counterparts. Ubisoft has even gone as far as to call AC3 on Wii U the superior version, Armored Edition of Batman as well...What's not to get?

Heard the same thing at the begining of this gen. There are other things to consider about the relevance and cost effectiveness of horsepower in tech, especially console gaming.
Console gaming was not meant to compete with PC's in terms of spec, its financial suicide to do so as a console maker. Sony and MS would be like Sega had they not been huge corporate conglomerates.

I still don't understand why they don't give a game like this the proper production values. Its insulting actually. I remember the days when 2D Mario was given the royal treatment, it was the flagship Nintendo title, and treated as such.
Now they treat it like an abused step child, they will make it because they know it will sell hardware, but don't really show they give a damn about expanding the content of the game.

I am not a fan of cinematic games. I can't stand when video games attempt to be something more than what they are. They are not Hollywood movies, they are video games.

What people need to realize is that the economy is in no way shape of form stable. It will be financial suicide for M$ or Sony to attempt to leap too far ahead in graphical prowess. If you want bleeding edge tech, someone has to pay for it, thus a higher price $400+ is unavoidable, and possibly even with that either console manufacturer will be taking a loss on the hardware, who can afford to do that right now?

Yeah, sure. M$'s Conference was extremely lame, Sony's not much better. It actually made people MORE interested in Nintendo's conference in the hopes that it would keep this E3 from becoming an even bigger snore fest.
Nintendo hasn't 'won' E3 just yet, but it has been the talk of the town as a result of that conference.
However, to say Wii U doesn't have a system seller yet on par with a Halo 4...are you kidding? NSMB Alone has outsold Halo 3 twice over, or Xbox' biggest seller MW2 twice over.
And NSMB is a game that is whispered as being a launch game for the console. So sorry, M$ nor Sony has a system pushing game of that magnitude. It may not be...

Listen, I am not really a handheld gamer but the Vita vs 3DS 'battle' is non existent at this point. 3ds is crushing it right now. Vita needs to concern itself with not being a drain on sony's financials. Actually, Nintendo should concern itself with the same goal as 3ds has cost them a heap of ca$h.
I've no dog in the fight, but it will be hilarious to see the Romney like flip flop take place regarding the Wii U's 'Tablet Controller' if/when Sony comes out with one.

Why would someone choose this version of the game over the console versions? Vita needs games that are Vita's alone, and not seen as competing with PS3 games. Or Jr. console games.
