Is very unfortunate. And very selfish. It costs a lot of money to make these games and it is essentially stealing. Though it can be said that many of these corps. are greedy and ripping folks off but that's a different argument altogether.
Glad I aint the only one who was bored playing this game. There was some good elements to it, but too much irrelevant bs and constant talk just killed it for me.

Cut the crap about creative art styles and unneccessary npc's, and constant hand holding. Give the gamer what they want. The Wii U demo is what I am talking about. But sadly, just like the Gamecube demo that looked awesome turned out to become the Wind Waker the Wii U Zelda will probably follow suit. 2 Weeks post natural disaster is still very fresh and that is when the 3DS was launched..post earthquake. Natural disasters will always have an impact on markets. And the point was this was another hurdle 3DS was faced with and it still out performed Vita. That is all.
To call a spade a spade. Historically, Nintendo has always done well during the holiday season. Even with failures such as the Gamecube during the Holidays it would look to do pretty decent numbers. But now here you have the 3DS with less than a year on the market finally getting the software that the consumer wants.
Additionally, Vita, while the launch lineup may look fantastic to the PS gamer, it offers nothing to the overall commercial gamer. None of those games have bro...
For Platformers. I enjoyed World more, but you can make the argument for which is the better game either way. I read a lot of people asking for 'remakes of these games, but I'd rather Nintendo actually make a 2D Mario game with the kind of love (resources) they used to make these. Imagine a 2d Mario game in the vein of these classics, with the production values of say the Galaxy games?

Since the N64 has been a breath of fresh air in the fighting game genre. It is classic arcade gameplay at its finest. Easy to Learn but hard to master, simple yet with depth. It is no wonder I am still playing the hell out of this game 3 years later.
And I loved the original, Melee..wasn't much of a fan, Brawl to me is the best entry into the series. And I am hoping they improve the formula even more for the next iteration.

Actually that is horrible. Great piece of tech, very nice design and obviously a lot of horse power but damn that battery life sucks. Maybe a smidgen better than 3DS' battery life but that's not saying much.
Absolutely your opinion is of rational thinking. I think the portable space is perfect for a 2D Metroid Comeback and depending on the performance bring 2d Metroid back to the Wii U as well. I think there is still a huge market out there for 2D titles.

Let your sacred cows go for a moment. Was SS a good game? From a technical standpoint absolutely. But from a standpoint of content it is severely lacking. The controls are fantastic I just wish the rest of the game was as good. there was way too much filler, too much irrelevant aspects to this quest that it killed the game for me.

Why are the days of a 2D Metroid on a console gone? Many thought the same thing of a 2D Mario on a console and Wii changed that.
I would have loved a 3rd person 3D Metroid instead of the crappy other M. This is what happens when Devs want to get 'creative' instead of giving the gamers what they want.
But if Retro isn't going to handle another FP Metroid I think the only salvation for the series would be a return to 2D. Sakamoto and Team Ninja ...

Was my least liked 3D Zelda game. Still a good game, but TP was better, and even then TP was disappointing to me. In that it didn't bring anything different to the table from OoT. And WW was a cake walk, borefest if you ask me lol.

This year is all about the 3DS for Nintendo. Just like when the DS released it took priority for Nintendo.
Nintendo would be foolish to release a new handheld AND console in the same year. I think 2013 will see the Wii's successor..Or LATE 2012. It is still outpacing PS2 and Nintendo is STILL raking in the dough on every console sold.
