Reading this, I just realized, totally off-topic. I bet this game was going to be PS4 exclusive or PS4/switch only when Scalebound was in developement, and that this is why Scalebound was cancelled to ensure Monster Hunter came to Xbox. Seems like and MS thing to do, to put it's weight into successful existing IP than risking with a new, pretty sad if true, but totally just a random thought, with no real proof.

This is my point, I think obviously they are fully immune to meltdown due to hardware architecture, though I find it hard to believe they can fully discount spectre. I do think it is much more secured than it would be on a standard OS, but I can think of multiple ways it could still be implemented, though I HIGHLY doubt anyone would waste the time to target individual machines with spectre, especially individual machines that are more secure than a standard windows PC that has far more inform...

I suppose assuming Java is the only implementation (it is not, that is just what other browsers are doing to resolve this short term bandaid basically) It also helps that the xbox one has a curated software library.

The issue is, the vulnerability is not limited to java or manual downloads, it could accidentally be installed onto a flash drive, (unlikely, but possible) transmitted via Windows SMB, or other network sharing formats, making it a much bigger concern in conglome...

Hmm, doesn't make sense considering specter pulls kernal level data direct from the CPU. I suspect mike ybarra is wrong, or maybe he just was referring to meltdowb, which would be the case anyway as that only effects intel CPUs.

Man, so
-Bayonetta 1/2 remaster
-Bayonetta 3
-Yoshi
-Metroid prime
-Kirby
-Octopath
-and maybe a mario party or mario sport game?

Then 2019, probably an interim mario game, new mario kart or smash bro, and who knows what else. Going to be a pretty sweet next couple years for switch. Though really curious what happens in 2020 when they basically are to the point of rehashing their successful IP, as they will have...

The drops are only during pregame lobby and the parachute trip down, always the PS guys who never played the game in here acting like they are the end all in how the game performs. Since patch 1, it has run steady 30 on one x by turning off dvr, now it runs 30fps either way. Not saying there is never a single drop, but it is the vast minority and has been for a while. (At least with dvr off)

The bigger issue on one x and one is the rubber-banding and game crashing I have no...

Oh geez, you guys always being such whiny babies, crying racism/bigot about everything.

1. He is saying that corporate America vs corporate Japan, he thinks Japan is better, not racist in any way, he is comparing two marketplaces. Heck, even if he were talking about individuals, American and Japanese are not races.
2. He is wrong, but why not make the argument for your case. Even if he did say something racist, let him, just make the argument on why he is wrong and...

Yea, the people who needs these tips might not be bright enough to heed the advice.

It definitely needs to be better.

I do love my OneX so far and enjoyed/enjoying cuphead and pubg but it was a pretty lame year overall game wise.

Not great, at least IMO. Not bad games I suppose, but nothing I would actually download and play.

I disagree completely, I think the division does every aspect better, at least for my preferences. 3rd person cover based shooting I prefer, the skill based roles I prefer, (healer, skill roles, tank role, etc) the RPG like skill trees and weapon building/rolling I prefer, the massive amount of modes, (pvp, horde, dead zone, standard missions, incursions, etc) massive amount of gear and gear sets that actually give specific boosts if you pair then together.

It is just a be...

"but what we think is server-side micro-teleporting and rubber-banding are causing real issues for the experience."

AKA the rubber-banding and other network related issues cause the game to appear like frame-drops, but they have no way to conclude that either way. Might as well just stop testing an unfinished game as if it somehow will change overnight.

If the issues exist in 6months-1year when the full release is done, then we need to complain,...

"I work with data all the time."

Oh, well if you say so, it must be true, how dare anyone question you....

The reality is, this video, is just one persons gameplay also, and is only 2 minutes long and is spliced apart, so not really a great analysis. Also, as I said disabling DVR (the recording function) on XB1 or XB1X makes the game run at an almost stable 30FPS, by opening up RAM, and loading fewer assets from slow HDD storage. Not sure what y...

I definitely have no issue personally, but I use an SSD, so seems like they just have to optimize storage for the consoles. They say disabling DVR function also has the same result, since it frees up more RAM and is less reliant on slow HDD storage. There are definitely some drops, but they seem the rarity, however, you take a 1 second clip and act as if the whole game is 12FPS.

Weird how it is always the PS fanboys who come to these articles to comment based on a game they...

Reminds me a lot of the old God of War (not a fan, but the new one looks really good) games mixed with heavenly sword. I think for it's genre it looks pretty damn good really, but I am not a fan personally.

Never said it was, just said it being represented is important

Never said anything otherwise here either.

Yes, because non-sensical fantasy violence is great, but aactually bringing light and a platform to domestic abuse and child abuse, and suddenly everyone is upset. Let's all go back to ignoring real issues and representing them and go back to complaining that too few games have women antagonists, because that is the real issue that needs to be addressed.

Whether the display is good or bad is regardless, the point is it will be a way to inform people that these issues ex...

Tone deaf trailer? This game puts light on an all too frequently ignored issue, domestic violence. It shows the horror of it, it informs an audience that may otherwise be unaware and puts them in a situation to understand and possibly prevent this from occurring in reality by recognizing symptoms and realizing how important it is to be proactive in these cases. Tone deaf is people like you and other idiots out there who say that domestic violence and abuse needs to be ignored and censored <...

****SUPER SPOILERS BELOW****

Oh, no question the plot felt like it was written specifically for me, an alternative timeline where Tesla was inventing weapons to defeat a werewolves horde that had grown to power in london and the nights of the round table are the ones fighting, and created the idea of "jack the ripper" to keep the public from finding out. Basically epic from any standpoint, however I feel like they missed so many opportunities in executing the stor...
