Well, if SNK does it, it would be SvC as mentioned before. Capcom's iteration was CvS...
Would love for a followup to SvC Chaos.... and Namco's Namco vs Capcom that has just disappeared into thin air.
true, but that doesn't stop people.
I agree, but being able to play the game, even in rough shape is better than not being able to play it at all.
Simple:
1: can at times be found cheaper than digital versions
2:No lengthy downloads (not counting major patches) Helpful if your console dies
3: resell value
4: for people into retro gaming, what will you do when MS/Sony/Nintendo kill eshop access to an older console? You can hope either that your console never dies, or learn the dark arts and hack your replacement console.
5: Resell value. Yes, placing here again, as a few console generations la...
pretty sure gamestop just held onto stock and figured it's time to unload it. probably mostly from unsold bundles
I agree with Skies of Arcadia.
Powerstone had a collection release on the PSP, so that's a starting point.
Would love a Capcom Dreamcast Fighting collection, with thinks like star gladiator, tech romancer and other DV fighting games that have not had a sequel since the DC releases.
The thing about reviews.... they are normally 1 person's opinion. So depending on who reviews it, it'll either be glowing or a sack of crap.Even worse.... if you only have fans of a certain game or genre, the review will be skewed in 1 direction. Have people that don't like or hate it, the reviews are skewed in the opposite. That why things like metacritic scores become helpful, but 100% of a game's true worth.
Now let me enjoy my classics on newer hardware...
For Darkstalkers, Yoshinori Ono teased a game 3-4 years ago at SDCC 2 years in a row (I was there) and nothing since.
Would like to see a proper update to darkstalkers... And also an HD return of Maverick Hunter X, the PSP only Megaman X remake.
And Tech Romancer..... and Star Gladiator... and Cyberbots....and a collection of their arcade brawlers that never made it home or haven't had a release in forever (Aliens vs Predator anyone?)
Pretty sure this has happened before.... In SNK vs Capcom, Dimitri's super did the same to everyone.
Agreed. I have it on the PSP (bought it Day 1) and it was a great update to the series. Wished the other games got this overhaul as well.
Same with Mega-man Powered Up...
Kinda wish Maverick Hunter X was included (psp, 3d remake of X1) which mixed up the locations for all enhancements...
wow, that's a douche thing to do.... Oh the internet, allowing idiots to spoil the fun.
What does irk me.... is the physical version of AE comes with a DLC code for the Season 1/2 characters instead of placing them unlocked on disk (a small unlock key is downloaded.) So if you buy a used copy of AE, it's essentially like buying the original disk new or used. No extra characters.
Is zelda a perfect game? no, it has it's issues. Is it game of the year material? OH GOD YES. This coming from someone who did NOT like all the previous 3D zelda entries, which yes, I know that's blasphemy, but until BOTW, my favorite was LTTP with LBW as a close 2nd....I got bored within a few hours of fan favorites like Majora's Mask. Currently 139 hours in after the last DLC.
People that don't like it seem to think that nintendo always gets a pass, but th...
Tech support/Customer Service isn't always the best source for company PR, ever....
Maybe Arc System works should delay the game 4-6 months to include more characters in game without DLC... At least that's the vibe I'm getting from most people here.
I wouldn't say they erased it. More like "we have this catalog of great games that people didn't play, the can recoup some of the original cost now" which is true. The WiiU did have some great games, but people weren't willing to shell out for it, which makes sense since "most" of the games that "most" people wanted to play weren't available on it.
so, a lazy "update?" it was bound to happen.
for longevity, I prefer physical.Yes, I'll return to a game I bought 20+ years ago a few times a year.If I need to replace an older system, I still have the game. What happens when Nintendo kills the switch online service and your system dies?digital purchases are gone.
Shipped or sold? The US/Eu prelease I saw this morning said shipped, which is not the same as sold.
Either way, it's a great number.
