Or use the Nemesis system on other games, like a new Batman game.
Actually the information came from the Nintendo European demo unit. So it may be a very accurate speculation.
In the case of PS1, it came with a CD-ROM, a powerful & cutting edge tech at that time. Sony also out spent Nintendo on 3rd party supports.
As for XBox, it was a late comer.
Yes. Hardware power & 3rd party support go hand-in-hand. How can 3rd party, like Activition, support Switch if it cannot run CoD?
The Nintendo camp (both the company & their die-hard supporter) has gone down this believe over a decade now. Haven't they learn the lesson? Not powerful as your competitors means that 3rd games will not be available on Switch. This in-turn means the only Nintendo games will be available to a Nintendo Switch. This will hurt the Switch sells in a vicious cycle.
It is the idea of full price MP only shooter that is a complete failure. Except Overwatch, all MP only shooter sold miserably after the 1st month.
Like books & movies, games become another medium for political commentary.
Bioshock/ Bioshock Infinite vs American Politic
FM vs Brexit
I don't think there is anything dumbed down. But I do feel it is slow down, corridor-down & ground-down, not for PS4 user, but for CoD players.
I disagree on the "bonehead" part. This is a cold-blood, calculated move from EA. Because CoD has 2 parts (Modern Warfare & Infinite Warfare), so EA put up its own 1-2 punch with Battlefiend1 & Titanfall2. EA sacrifice Titanfall2 in order to attack CoD Infinite Warfare.
However, everybody else are having a bad November, MAYBE Titanfall (hopefully) will get another chance......
This November is bad for all AAA titles. On top of this, Titalfall 2 was being scarified by EA in order to be self-destructed along with CoD Infinite Warfare.
Actually Watch Dog 2 was released in Europe & Asia. From an article from wccftech website, the sales in Britain is down 80%!

This November seems to be very brutal for all the AAA big games: CoD, Titanfall 2, Watch Dog 2, Dishonor 2. All sell 50% lower than their last outing.
Titanfall 2 was used as a suicide-bomb, to be self-destroyed along with CoD Infinite Warfare. In this sense, it fulfill its "purpose". Just look at the sales of CoD. It fare not any batter.
I guess EA want to counter the SiFi CoD with a similar SiFi Titanfall 2. This decision definitely hurt Titanfall 2.
Let's hope that Nintendo (& indeed the Nintendo fans as a whole) doesn't fall into the same thought that "sales figure is not importance). Sales figure is importance. A good hardware & software sales will give the hardware & software time to improve. Just look back at WiiU. Because of the poor sales, WiiU didn't have a chance to improve on the hardware & its games.
I think the next entry should be in the format of interactive adventure, like the ones done by Telltale Games.
It's funny that Titanfall 2 & CoD:IW seems to learn the worse part from each other.
The comparison between Mr. Trump & Father Comstock (& Andrew Ryan) become more & more similar, after the hearing the US news the last couple days. Like Father Comstock, Father Trump also manipulated all the women around him for his personal goal.
Lady Comstock (the wife)
Ms. Lutuce (the adviser who was killed by Comstock)
Elizabeth (the daughter)
Daisy Fitzroy (the enemy, whom Comstock blame everything).
I think Bioshock Collection just become some kind of political commentorry (like the book 1984), a mirror on the current US politic. Just replace Andrew Ryan & Comstock with Trump, & you'll get a chilling prediction on what will happen to USA.
Wii had some very powerful controllers, (Wii remote, Wii Board, etc.) .
