"Since I couldn't use my PS4 saves in the PS5 version..." this is the "standard feature" of PS5. I thought you would be quite use to this by now.
@Telfon02 Those were the days that there were actually significant leap between PS3/XBox360 to PS4/ XBox One. For example, Forza Horizon 2 were 2 completely different games between 360 & XBox One (in 360 there was no open-world driving). Also AC 4: Black Flag, while still the same game across gen, felt way better on PS4/ XBox One (seamless transaction from land to sea, also without loading screen) than the pervious gen.
@BenRC01 this is a chicken-or-egg issue. Both PS5 & SeriesS are out of stock are because a lot of people want those machine, A high demand of current-gen consoles means more & more games will utilize those current-gen features. At the same time, more games utilizing those current-gen technology will push the demand even higher.
So, do you ever buy a movie ticket & watch movie in a cinema? You watch the movie at that piacular time & place. Do you feel crappy for not owning the physical copy of that movie?

The more appropriate question is: can the US gamer accept the reality of steam only or always online mobile games. Outside of US market, mobile gaming is on-par with console gaming.
Yeah, this is the difference between GaaS/ multiplayer focus game vs single player game. For GaaS, there is only one chance to succeed at the 1st month after launch. If a multiplayer game does not get traction at the 1st month, that game is basically done. SP game, on the other hand, can be sold year after years, with refinements, remake, remaster, etc. ACIII & AC Unity are 2 games that were a mess at launch. But these 2 games are kept on selling (in reduce price) even today.
I would rather to have a Batmen Multiversus game, like the Spiderman games.

Actually there is "recommendations & guidelines" for adult players to play no more than 4 hours continuously . Some company will force-pause your section every 4 hours.

I don't think this is in the hand of Crystal Dynamics to just "let go" of this game. There must be tons of corporate BS between CD, Disney, and Sony. The 2 other big corporates may not ready to call the quit for now.
