Thanks for reminding me of that trailer. The actual game is so much better looking in my opinion. They really delivered on that promise. And the gameplay is even better; I still play it regularly, unlike many of my other games.
I'm curious how far they are going this time in trying to find the limits. Aren't we supposed to get some sort of news about Killzone 3 this month, by the way?

Nice looking vid, but what is actually happening in there? Always strolling through the jungle, enjoying the scenery. You guys are always referring to this kind of vids, where nothing is going on.
Wow, to be honest I didn't expect that Killzone 2 would look that good in comparison to Crysis 2. And to imagine that Killzone 3 will look even better; mindblowing!
Any one who claims that Killzone 2 consists of only drab, dark visuals, obviously has not played it. It's more colorful than this (admittedly short) Crysis 2 trailer is showing.
Frankly, in my opinion this trailer is really not that impressive. And to boast about the cover- and the hit response system, two things that have been done extremely well in KZ2; well, they first have to prove that they can do it on that high a level.

This DLC was already included in the special edition and I like it a lot. I love this game.
Well, this part of the game doesn't seem to look that good, to be honest. Quite underwhelming in fact. But when I watched the part with Hera and Hercules, I was blown away. There seems to be somewhat of an inbalance between certain parts.
Nope, not enough daytime scenes, when it concerns actual gameplay. Do you perhaps a have a link with some more daytime footage? That would be very much appreciated.
To enjoy the 'photo realistic' landscape in Crysis seems to be the gameplay in Crysis. At least, when I read all the pc gamers comments.
Personally I do not care about the wand either, but who knows. Perhaps it does add something. I cannot imagine that Sony and GG would implement this feature and corrupt its hardcore gameplay. For some reason I have a feeling that they know what they are doing. It could even mean some kind of revolution; it's hard to tell, really. At least we'll know it will look amazing again.

Well, the GG connection isn't that far fetched, for I believe that Aaron Butler, a former Senior designer on Killzone 2, is involved in the next project of Imsoniac; which obviously is R3.
So now GG has cold feet because there is no news about KZ3's release date yet, when there are nothing but rumours floating around to begin with? Seriously, get a life, people.
