Mmmh, if the trailer is anything to go by, then they still have a lot of work to do to reach UC2 quality graphics. But they still have a lot of time to get there. And if they do, it will be incredible, since it is an open world game. To be honest, the art style is a bit too cartoonish for my taste, but I loved the gameplay of Infamous. A certain buy for me.
It's really shaping up to become (again) one of the most beautiful games around. And not only seen from the visual perspective. I mean, it seems to be so much fun to handle those guns and the jetpack.

No, I think that Hulst meant that the Helghast themselves will have a more alien look and feel about them. I suspect that stressing the sci-fi element in the game is partly responsible for that.

Would they perhaps show some KZ 3 or Resistance 3 with the Move? I remember one article in which was stated that at least one Sony FPS was already playable with the move. Would love to see something like that.

Well, my guess is that Sev and Rico will be together throughout the campaign, but that a fair share of the game they join some Helghast troopers of one of the two factions. Again, just a guess. It will be intruiging to see how the story will work out.
I will not even try get into some sort of a discussion about which game is looking better. But is Crysis 2 not going to be out this year already. Or did I miss something?
And if they decided to ship Crysis 2 not earlier than next year then I know why, after watching this KZ3 trailer. It's the Crysis team that has its work cut out for them. Really not the other way around. And lets not bring Halo Reach into this.
Pre Alpha and already it's looking like this. Amazing. I'm not sure why some people are downplaing KZ3. One may not like FPS or the way KZ2 plays, but to deny its beautiful visuals is just laughable. I can tell from this short clip alone that it's going to be one of the most polished, best looking games ever. Which is a 'tour de force' because of all the action involved. I'm impressed.

I didn't push the disagree button, but I'm, one of the few I believe, who is actually disagreeing with you. For me Rico embodies the visceral and primal reaction one can have when you're fighting a war. Or any other sort of conflict for that matter. He experiences the fight in extremes. Good or bad; black or white. Of course he is wrong, but I think it makes him also human. It's something we all have inside us, I believe. And not unimportant; he is actually pushing the story f...
I have a feeling your hunch will be spot on. I too believe that at some point in the game 'we' will be fighting alongside one of the factions, perhaps even wearing the Helghast uniform.
And yeah, the story is rich enough. People only want it to be thrown directly in their faces. Well, I think they are going to be obliged this time.
Yeah, I was kind of surprised with the reactions also. Killzone is really not that well known ( if at all ) among the general public, but it almost looked like there were quite some Killzone fans in the audience. I had my reservations about how effective such a showing is in a non game related TV show, but this was at least fun to watch.
