I don't give a sh*t what this guy thinks about 3D. What I do like is that even he has to admit that "it will be visually breathtaking". And the words "jungles" and "terrifying monsters" in one sentence also caught my eye. And those screens. Damn'.
Perhaps still oppresive looking, but I'm really looking forward to this Helghan jungle ( and its obviously very hostile inhabitants ) which is supposed to have a phosphorous blue-green palette. I think more colour has to be expected. Although in my opinion there already was enough and beautiful colour to be found in KZ2.

Indeed, when KZ3 actually comes out, 3D tv's will be a lot cheaper. Unfortunately it's still too soon for me, since I have a new tv already. But for a lot of people in a year from now it will be a realistic option.

Yep, in hindsight that was an important piece of conversation. It also indicates how important Rico's role is in all this, like you mentioned. Almost like Judas in the story of Christ. A sort of catalyst, so to speak. The overall story is much deeper than a lot of people give credit for, in my opinion.
What I find interesting is that there are several factions of Helghast now, with obviously different aproaches. Nice.
I think he's talking more about some easier kind of system to join the MP games. Perhaps to join friends more easy and such. Like you I hope they do not mess with the controls.

@ SKC You do know that GG did help ND with their MP also. And I think they did a lot more tham Bungie did, besides sharing ideas and such.
The more I read, the more impressed I'm getting. I have no doubt that this is just a tip the iceberg and more info will show up ( during E3? ). Curious how the MP will turn out.

What I'm also excited about is that Rico ( and other team mates? ) can actual revive you now ( it's stated under Rico's screenshot). So they are not so useless anymore. It's like they ticked all the boxes where improvements could be made and took care of those. As it should with a sequel.
Wow, all these screens look so crisp and clear; simply amazing. Of course we'll have to wait for some actual gameplay, but the article does sound promising, to say the least. Too bad that my TV doesn't support 3D, because that part I would like to experience too when the game comes out.
Damn; I don't visit the internet for just one day and immediately Killzone 3 news is bombarding this site. Very exciting news, by the way. What I gather from the source article is that everything about the game like the viusals, story, diversity in locale and gameplay has been improved. Now I am really curious about seeing something in motion. But then again, I don't want to see too much before the game actually comes out.
Well deserved, in my opinion. The soundtrack is of a very high quality and rivals with some of the best movie scores out there. Congratulations Mr. De Man, GG and Sony.
I read earlier that some figurines are going to come out at the end of this year. Like two from the Killzone universe for instance. And I don't remember the other ones, but there were definitely more game character figures in the making. So perhaps Sony is finally doing something when it comes to merchandising their franchises.

Okay and wow. To be honest Lost Planet 2 wasn't on my radar, but this looks f*cking cool. This shows that the Killzone universe would lend itself well for a TPS. Perhaps the UC2 skins already showed that, but the atmosphere in this trailer is really fitting. And on a second note, the Helghast do look quite heroïc in this trailer. Not at all as the bad guys. Yep, I love this.
