So ironic to see on the one hand MS releasing a X1 bundle with indie games, while on the other hand Xbox fanboys accusing (without reasons) Sony gamers for buying the Indiestation 4.
Wow, I cannot wait to see how Xbox fan boys will react to this. Most probably, they will praise this decision made by MS and twist in a way their accusation.
Irrespectively, it is now OFFICIAL that X1 is the Indie-station.
Sorry but x360 didn't win over PS3. The PS3 overtook X360 in December 2012 and sold through many more consoles than X360.

I haven't seen yesterday comments on how the game could be saved such as both console players to enjoy it.
I have only seen people wanting that the game to be a Xbox exclusive, while Sony to drop the ball!!! Are you telling me that the people saying this were regular Xbox players?!!!
No, they were Xbox fanboys a big difference from the regular Xbox fans!
The problem with Xbox fanboys is that they are fanati...
Poor Xbox fanboys, yesterday they were dreaming at a X1 excluisive while Sony would have dropped the ball. However, not even 24h have passed and the Head of Xbox himself got the Xbox fanboys to reality.
This is somehow similar with the DX12 story.
I hope that at least now Xbox fanboys will listen to Phil Spencer and accept that Silent Hill will not be developed for any console.
Maybe they will also accept (after months and months of negation ...
Finally someone noticing the grammar error (after 4 pages).
I'm not a native English speaker, I saw the error, but since it was in the title (so it's difficult to not see it) and nobody saying anything, I thought that I missed an English lesson.
OT: A rumour is still a rumour.
News?!! It is a RUMOUR! Geee
It is a video made by two random guys saying that they heard from another random guy.
Billions. Sure...
You've made the perfect comment!!!
Indeed they will spin this in some nonsense but will be totally logical for them.
With your permission, I will add to your comment that Xbox fanboys will switch the X1 performance boost from DX12 to the CLOUD.
Will have threads with hundreds of posts on this subject for the next year.
The combination between DX12 and Xbox fanboys is PURE comedy.
It is with ups and downs for Xbox fanboys. They are grabbing on anything that could give them a hope, and afterwards the cruel truth hits them.
We had a lot of discussions (for months now) with respect to statements given by various developers (Brad Wardell, SMS etc), just to find out that all of them clarified that the benefits will be seen only on PC, but not on X1.
Even if Phil ...
The ironic part is that MS a multi-billion company offers a bad game for the 3rd month in a row, while Sony a company with financial issues (many saying that will be going bankrupt) offers AAA games for PS+.
Sony is the company thinking to its customers and showing the appreciation for their support.
Please provide me with the quote where he explicitly mentions that the 30-40 % gains refer to X1.
You cannot because there is no such statement.
The answer was given to a general question not a X1 specific.
For those saying that the question/ answer was on a Xbox thread, please look in it and you will see questions SPECIFICALLY for PC and even PS4.
Someone tried to clarify this statement (pay 8 post #77), but did not receive ...
Five days ago, on 23 May, Albert Penello wrote the following on Twitter:
"Phil said MODEST improvements.LOTS of DX12 innovations already in the XBO API".
Sorry, but either you didn't understand or you are trolling.
PS4 has to cap, namely:
- one at 30 fps, which means that the game cannot go higher than 30 fps, which makes the game smoother;
- one at 20 fps, which applies every time whwn PS4 drops under 30fps. This is a calculated decision from Sony/ CDPR in order to avoid heavy stutter. If you think, 60 Hz is the multiple of 20 and thus you have an even frame pacing.
Firstly, please check DF's article before submitting a post. The article clearly states that whenever the PS4 drops frames under 30, the game AUTOMATICALLY caps the frame at 20 fps.
Secondly, any measurement and every equipment has a margin of error. Thus the 19 fps is what DF software is reading but if you exclude the error margin the game plays at 20 in reality.
"We've been working to give gamers an even better experience on Xbox One and, on day 1, we'll bring you dynamic scaling from 900p to 1080p. We're not much more than a week before launch, but we're still fighting for every line of code - we want gamers to get the best possible experience we can deliver."

It depends on what are you watching the comparison video.
If you are looking on a tablet, smart phone or a 720p laptop monitor, for sure they will look the same.
But seeing the comparison video on a proper display, the difference will pop out immediately (which one is more crispier and with less jaggies).
80% of the people commenting here are looking on a tablet or a phone. So I don't know how much relevant are their comments.
With Sony taking the marketing rights, maybe we will no longer have the parity fiasco that was last year with AC Unty.
Remember UniSoft locking both PS4 and X1 at 900p in order "to avoid all the debates and stuff"?
Now, without MS having the marketing rights, Ubisoft can express themselves freely and hence utilising the entire power of the PS4.
I agree, only one reviewer mentioned about noticing frame drops, namely IGN.
Checking the review I don't think it's widespread issue. They showed some footage were the game stutters, which indicates a bug or a lack of optimization.
I need to know the reason why (some) reviewers are mentioning about game performance without having istalled the first day patch.
Also, seeing the IGN review (where they mention about the frame rate issue) I noticed shutters which, in my opinion, are due to some bugs or lack of optimizations (not a hardware issue).
Firstly, Bloodborne does not have frame rate issues, but minor frame rate pacing issues.
That said, I have to tell you that only in very few instances I have noticed them.
Otherwise the game plays extremely well.
The only frame rate drop that I have noticed is in the Lecture Building (in the Amphitheater, in which you fight with 12-15 enemies and are a lot of alpha effects from the thermal water thrown by the enemies).
Didn't MS say that one of the best feature of DX12 is the ease of PORTING GAMES FROM X1 TO PC (not vice a versa)? They even showed Forza 5 playing on a PC.
Now I would ask you all Xbox gamers, why? Why being interested in porting from a console to PC. The answer is very simple to bring all X1 exclusives to PC.
