Yeah, survival horror's been a really under represented genre this generation. :(
Yeah, the 4GB should be enough to tide you over for a while. You should have room for all your saves and even a couple of games on that.
If you're concerned about price, it could be worth holding out for a few months.
Exactly my point. The PS Vita doesn't need to outsell any other product to be great. As long as it sells well enough to support developers, then the good games will come.
Seriously, top right hand corner. Read the text.
Look again.
Yeah it is kind of bad timing isn't it. Would have done gangbusters in the middle of summer this game.
It's totally not out. Nor has it ever been. I refuse to believe that there are people out there that own this game.
I belive Lexis Numerique released the Red Johnson Chronicles around the time of the PSN outage, but not Amy.
We've only really seen a couple of trailers for Amy. If it released and had "sold well" there would be full playthroughs of the game on YouTube.
This game never released. What are they on about?
"Where's the market?" Nintendo DS continues to be the top selling system in North America on a monthly basis according to NPD sales.
"Games backed by solid licenses on iOS" are not comparable to those on the PlayStation Vita so the point is entirely moot.
But you seem to be contradicting yourself. You admit that "throwaway" fun can be "bought on either format for, essentially, pennies" but you're attempting to spin this as a positive for iOS and a negative for Vita. Which is unfair.
I agree that it's debatable whether the mass market wants "full-f...
Also some of the points of the article are straightup unfair. The writer says "price" is a reason for the PlayStation Vita's failure; he then acknowledges the introduction of Suite but then says "for the stuff most people will be interested in, we’ll be looking at prices closer to PSP than PS3. In an age where iOS gamers can have their thrills for a few quid, if that. Madness."
PlayStation Suite will allow players "to get their thrills for a few q...
Why on Earth is an XBOX 360 website so interested in the PlayStation Vita?
Looks like it doesn't it?
They won't drop $100. There's simply no need. The console is still selling fine. $50 is a more reasonable drop to anticipate. That will boost sales going into Christmas and put them back up YOY.
I really don't think Sony cares which platform sells more anymore. It's all about hitting predictions and maintaining profitability at this point.
They'll go down to $199 next year I suspect. There's just no need to do it yet.
They won't announce God Of War IV. That's for SCEA to reveal.
I agree with everything David Jaffe has to say about game journalism, but if I'm having a fantastic time with a game and it surprises me, then I'm going to review it appropriately.
People are free to disagree, but I think this game is great. There's nothing more to discuss really.
Shattered Memories was really good.
@Shok: I daresay the rumour is credible, but like I said, NGP is still going to be the most powerful handheld on the market by some margin.
And it seems a bit disingenuous to say the hardware was "downgraded" when the original specs were not announced. For all we know, Sony might have been planning 256mb RAM all along.
It's a bit of a non-factor in my opinion. These analysts trash Sony for pricing too high, then trash them for taking steps that ...
I also love how the first analyst uses a rumour on the "downgraded" specifications of the NGP like it somehow suggests Sony is not going to make powerful hardware anymore.
Y'know, what with the NGP being the most powerful handheld platform on the planet, "downgraded" or not.
Yeah, it's the best PS Vita bundle in the UK so far! :)
