No they don't. That happened in like the first week of the game's release and NEVER happened again in the subsequent two years since release.
Great post.
I didn't actually know that! I'm going to assume that the other converging observations point to the UK though.
Interesting stuff though. Good post.
Nope. I think in trying to create tension they forgot about making a fun game.
I still think Dead Nation's FINE, I just think it could have been better. If you love it, then I'm stoked for you.
Well I am actually in love with GT5 so I don't really care about other people's opinions. I can totally see its shortcomings, but I'm having a ball with it! :)
Yup.
I haven't played The Fight yet, but just reading the reviews it sounds like they got the motion controls working really well, just the actual game design gets in the way. Which is a real shame -- I hope they get chance to do a sequel.
Anyway, this discussion is for Fighters Uncaged so I'll bow out.
It's out this week in Europe. Based on the Eurogamer reviews, it does sound like the Fight is the better pick if you want a motion controlled brawling game, but it seems both have serious issues.
I think you're right. It's a shame really, I really want a good fighting game with motion controls, but the problems you highlight are going to be hard to overcome.
What are you even talking about? To my knowledge there aren't any Kinect games that feature augmented reality yet. There are at least two Move games.
Do you even know what augmented reality is?
This is also true. Things can sell out for a number of reasons. Though generally it's a good thing if things are selling out, it can also be down to restricted stock.
I do think in Move's case it's genuinely doing well. Same for Kinect.
They both seem to be doing better than I expected.
"Kinect and PlayStation Move Both Set To Do Pretty Well, IDC Says"
Headline fixed.
I still feel like Move will have legs. Kinect will outsell it this holiday no doubt, but unless Microsoft is really willing to go wild funding crazy ideas, I can't see Kinect offering a lot of variety over the next 12 months. Just by looking at Kinect's launch line-up you can see its strengths lie in fitness and dancing games.
I daresay those games are fun, but without anything else to its name it will struggle to continue pulling people in after the novelty has died ...
I'm so glad. Sounds like this game finally came together. Awesome.
Before the trolls jump in assuming this is bad PlayStation Move news, it's actually the opposite. Actually READ the article before commenting.
Nobody expected it to sell a bajillion units in the first month. Move's always looked like the motion device to have the longest legs. "Modest" is good. It's not "OMGSOAMAZING" but it's not "LOLOLOLDABOMBA" either. It's sufficient, good, decent.
The hardware's actua...
Yeah. I'm still trying to beat the table tennis gold cup. It gets really tough.
News just in: publisher delays game. It can hardly be attributed to Sony, can it. All publishers delay games. It just so happens that the PlayStation exclusives are high profile enough for people to care.
As I've explained numerous times -- it's four points because I believe there are four classifications of game quality: Bad, Alright, Good, or Excellent. It doesn't equate to a 100 point scale.
Sure it is. As you'd note if you'd actually played it.
The whole point of exclusive games is to define the ethos of a specific platform. It really saddens me when gamers lust for a one platform future where consoles are essentially set-top boxes.
If people want to play the game, they need to get a PlayStation. Same with Super Mario and Halo. It'll be a sad day when the exclusive game dies. :(
