I think it's fine that the multiplayer's there if people want to play it. More power to them. I don't think you should be forced to play to Level 60 in a predominantly single-player focused game to get the Platinum, though. Put a few multiplayer Trophies in there, sure, but don't make it a grind.
It's going to be interesting to see how much the software advantage swings in PS4's favour if Sony can maintain this momentum.
If a studio doesn't have the bandwidth to release on multiple systems at the same time, then it has to delay the PlayStation/Nintendo versions -- or launch first on Xbox, even if it doesn't really want to.
That's not good for developers or consumers.
Glad you guys are enjoying it. So exciting to see such positive reactions. :)
I think that's very unlikely. I'm sure Sony will have scrict instructions to ensure that people aren't playing these things until 15th November - though no doubt someone will get in early!
I don't think Hunted is /that/ bad, but Vampire Reign is a very legitimate contender... :P
I agree, to be honest. It's a cliche, but a bad game will always remain a bad game, whereas a delayed one may be good -- even if it's late! :)
Yeah, that actually sounds very reasonable.
It was just a joke at the expense of Suda51's typical games, but I've edited that out in order to avoid any confusion. Hope that's better.
That's fair. I'm glad you're looking forward to it! :)
I completely agree. I can only imagine how much pressure those engineers are under, but if they couldn't get it working in time, they should have delayed it.
I think it's a fair concern, but if Warzones works the way that they're being billed, then it could remain very popular moving forwards. The big challenge will be getting people to actually play the user created playlists, but if they figure that out, then it'll always feel fresh as a result.
We'll see. Guerrilla's really going for a community focus this time, so it'll be interesting how the game evolves. At the very worst, it's going to be a fun o...
I'm really looking forward to this.
Did you even read it?
That's fair - glad you're enjoying it.
Yep, that's pretty much what the article says! And even then, the difference is not going to be enormous.
I know what you mean, it does sound fascinating! :)
Yeah, it's a fair point. Seeing as it's such a pivotal part of the system, though, I'm assuming that 90 per cent of players will have access to PS Plus.
I'd be surprised if ResoGun wasn't offered in the States, too.
Sorry that you felt the headline was a touch over-the-top, I'll keep that feedback in mind. It was just a question that we posed to our editors to get some reaction ahead of GamesCom, and ended up with a short discussion piece. We did a similar thing at E3 and it went down okay, but it probably is a little bit ostentatious, I agree.
I'll take that on board for the future, and hopefully it won't skew your impression of the overall article (or site). :)
True. I supposed they're starting work on the new one while they finish testing Murasaki Baby, etc. It can't be far off now.
