Hmmm. Not sure what your point is? If third-parties aren't willing to step up to the ball of Sony's first-party then that means you're technically being treated to a lesser product.
Graphics aren't everything but they're an interesting way to measure the progress a system makes techinically.
The PS3 is taking strides.
Hmmm. Try the Ratchet & Clank comparison then.
Well I guess if you can't buy Killzone 2 then it probably is. Although I thought House Of The Dead was really good.
Totally. There's no way this isn't going to be released without the Church having some massive agenda to get it banned. In fact this may cause more controversy than GTA, what with the subject matter AND the obviously brutal nature of the game.
Yeah I'm really enjoying House Of The Dead Overkill. Whether it's better than Killzone 2 or not I care none. The game is fun.
Can't wait for Killzone 2 but this will tide me over.
Alas not unconventional for movies. And it works better than that stupid 100 point scale.
Really, was there any need for this article? It's only serving as a hit-cash-cow for the Killzone 2 reference and giving recognition to the morons the writer seems to be whining about.
He was talking about the quality of the scans not the actual screenshots.

-- As opposed to the nonsensical 100 point scale.
3/4 (3 Squares) relates to: "generally a game that scores 3 squares is a fun, solid release. There may be minor flaws but these are outweighed by the overall gaming experience."
I think Sony's inhouse studios would like to have a word with you.
To some degree I agree. But I don't believe Santa Monica will be up for compromising the essence of God Of War for a buzzword.
If they do, I hope it stays seperate to the main games story. Something like an "arena" mode would be fairly cool, where the enemies keep coming and you work as a team to take them out. I'd go for something like that.
I don't like the idea of them shoehorning another character into the single player mode to meet the desires of this years reviewing buzz word.
Oh well. One review out of approximately 40 that says the game is not "OMGAMAZING" but instead just "good". I'll live with that.
Nice to see Guerilla come out and take an interest like this but I hope they don't water the game down as a result.
I've said it once and I'll say it many, many more times. You have to keep playing the demo until you "get it" but it comes.
That's a silly thing to say man. We're all gamers here and we all enjoy playing them. Just because it takes some of us longer (or shorter) times to get used to the controls doesn't make us anything less.
I only took one death the first time too. The death I mentioned in the preview.
I suspect those people dying lots are not using cover.
Once you get over that initial brickwall that you have "change" ahead of you the game opens up. It's just fantastic. I've never known a game that rewards you so much for killing the enemy. The way the gun forces them to judder and flap around the screen is fantastic.
LOL. That's a good one actually. Recommend you book some time off work/fake illness to skip school.
Resistance 2 is also extremely inconsistent but -- I do believe Killzone 2 uses Resistance's water technology.
