I play with my middle fingers on L2/R2 too. I still think the triggers could be improved, though.
Do you dislike it because it's old, though, or because you think it's actually not functional?
The article's not an attempt at undermining the PS3's success. It's just a discussion about whether it's really important that the PS3 takes the lead at this stage.
Some digital games with "simpler" graphics might opt to support it, but, yes, I generally agree.
It's to protect the idea. Just because they've registered it, doesn't mean it has to be implemented. A similar patent was actually registered for the PS3, too.
You'd love this game if you're a fan of shooters. I urge you to try it out! :)
Spot on! With this offer, a bigger hard drive, and a year's worth of PS Plus, you're essentially getting 12 months of top gaming for less than £200! Such a bargain.
There are a couple of co-op stages, but the majority of it can be played alone.
Oh, I agree, don't get me wrong. The sheer amount of original content is what makes PlayStation great. I'm just worried that the model is not sustainable.
Sony will know the answer to that better than I do.
But as the article discusses, they only have so much money they can spend on marketing. While the likes of Microsoft can spend ALL of that money on a single game like Halo 4, Sony simply has too many games to promote in the same way.
As such, I believe the sheer number of releases are what hurts the advertising in the long run.
We don't live in a bubble, though. Times change.
I'd prefer WaterStorm with jetskis! Drool!
Good shout on Starhawk, I forgot about that one!
Beyond: Two Souls is definitely the anomaly. Clearly they're not going to just abandon the PS3 when the next-gen launches, but I think it's very clear that they're making a big empty space for it in Christmas 2013.
My inkling is that even The Last of Us /was/ set to be finished in May, they'd hold it back until Christmas in any other year. The fact that they have tells me they want all eyes on PS4 after E3.
You're right, I have removed the dollar comparisons in the original piece. Unfortunately, I can't edit the N4G article as it's already been approved.
I think you're going to have to make do with Raiden instead.
How are you enjoying the game so far? It's fun, isn't it?
I think it's going to have to be, unless they've got more unannounced content in the pipeline.
Enjoy! I hope to see you online! :)
Please explain how this is a hate article. It basically says that the DualShock is the best controller ever designed.
