I'm not a big fan of the multi-sku thing myself, but I see it as a temporary strategy. I predict one SKU within 2 years, by which time the console should be within $300.

That ground looks as good as any stone surface in Uncharted. I'd say that's pretty next gen...Uncharted being one of the graphical showcases of '07 and all.
I think the reason they're getting any exposure is because their top dog was one of the pivotal players at Eidos...but don't quote me on that.
and I wonder what this means for it. I'll probably still get it, but it's gonna need a pretty drastic improvement to be able to go toe to toe with Resistance, Far Cry, and Killzone.
Hopefully they deliver. They need to put out a demo at least.

I'll be the first one to jump for joy is this is confirmed...I love this series and have since the PS1 days. I admit I'm not quite as salty about Final Fantasy as some are(NES, SNES days), but I got my vintage FF with emulators. :)

Believe it or not, I COMPLETELY agree with you. It is absolutely ridiculous that fanboys and extremists have gotten so bad that journalists have to acknowledge them now. Every screen or video I've seen of this game looks too good to be true.
I know it's squares MO to advert their games with the FMVs, but it's getting ludicrous now.
I'd like to at least have some idea of how the game will play, look, and feel. This stuff doesn't give me that. Seems like they're treading the dangerous water of the legendary FF name and their usually on point CG.
If an editorial popped up saying Halo 4 was in development and was predicted to hit the PS3...I think something as blatantly ridiculous as that is grounds for disapproval.
Personally I don't think the prediction stuff qualifies as news anyway, but that's just me.
