Of course 4k is better. That crispness and smoothness is infinitely better. Combine that with track ir and your experience will be even better than VR.

It was assumed that 1080/60 would be the standard this generation. Has been disappointing so far not only this isn't so, but people are more than happy to support less quality in exchange for some unnecessary bloom or unnecessary polygons.

Experts? Ha. They do not know best typically, they are responding to the "fans" who require the top of the line graphics on average hardware. If they didn't have to cater to those people, they would have dropped unnecessary graphical effects and even graphical fidelity years ago. Too bad everything has to have unnecessary polys, these consoles could have outputted something other than sub hd 30 fps.

Drop unnecessary effects such as motion blur, bloom, DOF, etc. Turn down the graphics just slightly, use a better art style.
Because that is the entitlement of these people. They NEED to have every game pander to them, rather than accepting that certain games will not.

Dead Space took out the best element of the series (horror) and turned it into a coop shooter. The game was horrible and even the biggest Dead Space fans I know will tell you to avoid that game like the plague.
Hardline is just a clusterf*** of cops and robbers and didn't deserve its own separate game. Battlefield was already a sour taste in my mouth and that game made it even worse.
I don't understand the comparison to games that have no relation to Star Wars titles. Why not compare it to previous titles? Republic Commando? Knights of the Old Republic, for example. Instead of comparing everything to Uncharted or Witcher.
Here's to hoping that Dead Space 3, Army of Two, and Battlefield Hardline aren't both indicative of the quality of this upcoming title (aka complete crap).

Please, this is not raising the bar. This is including features that were done years ago. GTAIV for how overrated it was had NPCs reacting to how you shot them, whether in the legs or chest.
Naughty Dog make great games, but I'm tired of people claiming they're raising the bar constantly. They're not.

Are you the be all end all when it comes to what review scores a game should receive? If I disliked something enough you damn well better believe I'll give it a 1/10, whether or not it's a broken experience.

That personal circumstance is a reasonable explanation, because it affects more than just himself. Also, I find it funny that people are willing to support a 4.5 Playstation but are calling the release of the NX too early and the death of Nintendo.
