@Nitus10
Under-powered compared to even PCs from several years ago.
Wait, you can't? So the copy of Star Wars Galaxies I bought in ragged condition that says used isn't actually used? Huh, weird.
Have you forgotten all the millions of dollars that Halo 5 has made from its online micro transactions?
This just in: Consumers purchasing device are worried about company immediately putting out new version of device that makes theirs figuratively obsolete. Also at 11: How the New Nintendo 3DS has done the same exact thing.
I wouldn't call it more hardcore. It's being made by Team Ninja who are known for the Ninja Gaiden games. I'm actually quite disappointed the game has so much in common with Dark Souls.
@XiKurapikaKurta
The PS3's cell was the only thing driving it. It had 512mb of ram, the phat consoles all were ticking time bombs, granted, nothing like the trash that the 360 was.
Games wise? For the first two years the only two memorable games I remember were Warhawk and Resistance. Uncharted was good, but too much like a movie. Uncharted 2's multiplayer was great, then they ruined it with Uncharted 3. Killzone 2 was a mediocre game save for its...
"is a bit dramatic"
The author and whoever submitted this article is riding off the waves of the NX reveal and the consequent Nintendo bashing that has followed. Microsoft gets it also but not as much. Sony needs to get it more but the users of this website do their damned-est to make sure that doesn't happen.
He's calling modern consoles crap.
So are you telling me that you played all that shovelware that was on the Wii?
Have you not seen the BS that is pulled with the New Nintendo 3DS? Hyrule Warriors shouldn't have even been released for the regular 3DS, it runs terrible and is in general a terrible experience. You think Sony is exempt from making those same choices just because they're Sony?
@JEECE
Because despite praising some companies more than others, I will still call their dumb crap out whenever it is relevant.
Were you born yesterday? The 8 year console cycle has never existed until last generation. The PS1 was released in 94. The PS2 was released in 2000 and guess when the PS3 was released? 2006. Even the PS3 only had a 7 year life before the PS4 was released. They just decided to support the mediocre console for much too long. Last generation was such terrible stagnation.
Even if it is sexist, so what? It's cyberpunk. A very gritty dark futuristic setting in which these negative types of things are present. I expect to see these things.
No, please no. Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal are my favorite Ratchet games. I don't want them to reboot them. They're going to retcon everything, make them 30 FPS, remove levels and put more weapons behind pre-order paywalls. I want Insomniac to leave those two games alone. They're going to remove Angela, remove the REAL Galactic Rangers, they're going to change the protopet storyline somehow.
They should make new games and stop rebooting everything.
Either clickbait or typical journal stupidity/ignorance/misinforma tion. NMS is already available on steam for pre purchase.
Hello, crash fan here. You know what it means to me? A big middle finger. Especially all the trash modern Naughty Dog has talked about Crash. All it reminds me of is Sony teasing for years about Crash after having sold him off. It reminds me of how we'll never get a good Spyro again, a good Crash, Jak and Daxter, basically all the games I used to love when I was younger.
This is more of an "F U" then a good easter egg. Naughty Dog have done nothing but claim how they're too mature to ever work on another Crash or Jak and Daxter game. "But h-hey guys, easter eggs are okay to remind you what we're not going to make".
Of course. People didn't pay for Xbox Live because they wanted to, they payed to play online. The same way people don't pay PS PLUS because they want to (at least, the rational people). They pay to play online. Sony is just trying to ease the pain by letting them "play games for free" while they are still subscribed. Microsoft realized that they have to do the same now to make themselves look good.
"It had bad design"
No, the design is pretty ergonomic. The back feels like a tradtional controller the way it's designed. Not to mention being able to simply look at the game pad instead of looking up at the TV is pretty interesting.
"Weak hardware"
Lol, this is why the console kids make me laugh. You guys are quick to spout weak hardware without realizing that your favorite companies also have weak hardware.
Are you disregarding the fact that virtual reality helmets are using the same gimmick that you are now trash talking? I don't like most motion controls myself. When I've played Splatoon and Zero I've learned that gyro is easy to use, but you can't just sit here and deny that one gimmick while conveniently ignoring the same gimmick being used in PSVR, being used in Vive, in Ocurlus, etc.
@MRMagoo123
Hey, at least Nintendo had the decency to wait four to five years before putting out a new console which would figuratively make their previous one obsolete.
