I soooo agree. The bots are fantastic. I can't believe more games haven't bothered. Timesplitters was so great because of them and PD0 multi only survived because of them!

So how will the PS3 go now, do you guys think? It is WAY more expensive now even with Little Big Planet included. I only use mine for Blu Ray and BIG exclusives, as well as streaming stuff to watch.
If I could only get one, it wouldn't be the PS3 now based on price and total games alone. I hope Sony cut their price soon...competition is necessary to push each other to greater heights.
I can't believe the Wii still sells at that price. Mine is a dust gatherer except when non-gamers come over and try it or my wife and kids feel like booting it up.

I thought MGS4's story was WAY too self-indulgent and occasionally verging on 'soap opera' stuff. It needed editing badly. But yeah, storyline with space marines is a bonus.
Apparently Resistance 2 has got LESS of a story than Gears 2. The guy never talks, so you don't really care about him. I'll have to see for myself which has the better story.
I'd say if you aren't sure, there are so many great games out now that you should get one you are sure about and maybe rent or try a mate's copy first. Gears 2 will be an improvement but not a huge jump either.
Sort of like if you didn't like Halo, it isn't going to change all that much to get Halo 2 or 3. It depends on your style of game choice.
Of course eventually it will be available cheaper too...

Arcade really does have some good stuff. Carcassonne and that pirate one are really quite fun!

That's right. This isn't about which SYSTEM is better. It's about which GAME is better. They just happen to be exclusives.
Some will prefer Gears and some will prefer Resistance but if you haven't played both, shut up.

Well this ignites the fanboys but I'm not surprised. Resistance 1 was a lot of fun (I really enjoyed it) but wasn't in the same league as Gears 1. I'll have to compare the multi, but on all their other points it looks like they've been fair.

Yup...and once again we won't probably give enough time to see what we like before we move on the next game because they release WAY TOO MANY games now...just before Christmas.
It is supposed to be the big money time, but I don't know how that works when so many big titles are competing for our attention and $$$. GTAIV had a clean run because there wasn't much releasing at the same time.
