This is 3 times within a week that the same screens have been posted here, unbelievable! Yes I know, they'r not all exactly the same, but sans the camera angles or contrast settings, they're exactly the same screens OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

I hope these aren't from the trailer releasing tomorrow, kind of spoils it. Looking solid enough, but I need to see it in motion. I'd like to see some actual gameplay footage this time, not just a trailer so to speak.
I just hope the animations are as good as advertised and that the streets are crowded with believable characters and that the enviroments are believeable as well....
First of all, I have no agenda against the guy. All I care for personally is that he delivers on NG2.
As for the verdict, why would he settle if he was declared innocent? If you're declared innocent, you're a free man! No need for no settlement, it would seem to me?!
You unlock this mode when you die 3 times in the 1st level. Though it's still pretty damn hard regardless. :O
But yeah, the game is awesome. You can pick up NG Black for a few bucks these days and it's BC on the 360 is pretty much flawless. Or if you just have a PS3, you could go for Sigma. Even to date, it's definitely worth the 60 bucks, imo.
Note that there is a lot more to NG than just the combat. The upgrading/loot system is very satisfying as well, and a bit of platforming and puzzle solving just adds to the fun. As well as the highly diverse environments. Must buy for sure.

Anyways, the point in my previous post was that, technically, it's underwhelming. Or atleast, I can't see anything going on that really pushes the system to it's limits. I mean, look at NG on the Xbox, that game ran at a solid 60 FPS aswell, people often forget that.
It was just a complete shocker that game, visually, technically and gameplay wise. Fortunately, the combat in NG2...
But for the most part they are avoidable aswell. You can fasttravel almost anywhere you want to in the Citadel anyway.
I think this article might be just as lame as the elevator rides in ME, perhaps I should write an article on that! :P
But it is a blazing 720p @60FPS video, so that's worth the post indeed.
And the 60fps really shows how satisfying the combat is, I was playing the Sigma demo just the other day, just to remind me how CRAZY the combat is. It's still on a different level compared to any other action game out there.

I hope it's still 'sci-fi enough' to my likings. That's one of the main reasons I liked Deus Ex IW, because of the sci-fi setting. If that's gone, then I don't know if I'll enjoy it as much.
I'll likely still enjoy it, it's the gameplay that's king afterall. But without the sci-fi influences, it won't be as appealing to me.
It's true, different people just put more or less weight on the different aspects of a game.
I've said this before but, almost every review I watch at Gametrailers.com I completely agree with what has been said. Yet, I don't necessarily agree with the final score, at all actually. It's just the way it is.

Lower res textures and lower poly objects compared to some other games out there will be seen a lot in this game, I'm sure. But that's to be expected.
What I'm interested in seeing is believable enviroments, believable and dense crowds, crowd interaction, the atmosphere, the lighting, the animations etc. The point of this game is creating a living and breathing city. If they have to sacrifice a few textures here and there to achieve that, it's fine by me.

It's quite obvious the PS3 is the better deal, hardware wise. Software wise, it will eventually pick up aswell.
Fortunately for MS, they have a lot of interesting exclusives going for the 360. That's the only thing still keeping me onboard. And I guess that's what it's all about in the end.

The 360 controller (sans the d-pad) is the best controller out there imo. The thumbstick layout is perfect and the triggers are excellent aswell, and it sits extremely well in your hands.
I definitely prefer the 360 controller over the PS3 controller, just can't get used to it.
Most people interested in fighting games play with the arcade stick anyway.
But yeah, the 360's d-pad stinks horribly indeed.
Yeah it's definitely worth it, whichever version you end up with. ;)
