... and have fun at the same time!
Why do you think so many people have to drink to have fun?
For the record I don't drink, so I get to witness others making a fool of themselves after drinking.
No, but the comment by fr3d0 has everything to do with trolling!
People lined up for Halo 3 as well.... they also lined up for a bunch of other stuff as well.
Never say never! The government isn't exactly the brightest bunch....
Yes, but what none of you accounted for are:
- Kinect is intended to be a platform not just earning money from the hardware, but also software over the lifespan of a Kinect. That includes both retail software sold on disc and dlc.
- Kinect might increase Xbox Live subscription because of a new set of customers.
- Kinect might enable MS to sell more Xbox 360s.
- Research in Kinect technology will be distributed to other areas, including Windows. Some of...
either way, smoking (weed or otherwise tobacco) is certainly bad for you and increases your risk of lung cancer.
In addition, second and third hand smoking is equally as bad for you and your children. The lingering smell in your clothing is enough....
I personally like the newer design much better. The old design was flawed in so many ways when it comes to presenting you with content.
Heck, the way it is now I have visible access to so much content.
... but yeah, it is a personal preference.
I talk about Google as well, but somehow you only cared about Sony!
It's kind of hard to compare the console makers when there are only three and one of them practically don't have an online presence.
I strongly believe that every game will eventually be connected in some way. That is where the market has been shifting to and it will become the norm.
Games like AC can have and probably will be connected in some way.
The Wii is an exception that I believe will change as well. It just so happens that the Wii has a feature nobody else has matched until now.
Sure Kinect is 99% software, but without the 1% that makes up the depth sensor in hardware there is no depth sensing of a person period!
Sure you can emulate depth sensing, by adjusting for 2D image, but there are things it can't do plain and simple.
No matter how much you want it, PS Eye is no different than the Live Vision Camera or any other webcam on the market except for the resolution or frame rate.
I tried Kinect with my brother and we had a blast. My girlfriend snapped a picture of us getting too excited and getting to close to the sensor.
Does that answer your question Pennywise?
After all, if you have a negative attitude towards it, haven't tried it despite the opportunity and then ask if it is fun... I think the answer is evident for everyone around you!
So should we take the picture evidence as truth or some random guy claiming otherwise and mentioning GT5?
That is not necessarily a bad thing. MS is ensuring it is getting proper adoption so that third parties would be willing to create software for Kinect!
LOL!
... and out of that list which one has actually sold more than let say KZ2 that is lower on the totem pole when it comes to sales on a single platform to be fair.
Games sales are heavily favoring multi-player games.
"This whole "every game will have multiplayer" spiel is one spread by those who play a lot of games online with others. Your typical FPS gamers. These people do not represent the greater group of gamers out there."
@distorted_reality:
MS has been pretty firm about a 2010 release since they announced Project Natal at last years E3. Sony said initially Spring 2010, but ended up pushing it to September.
If anything, MS is doing Kinect to compete with Nintendo not Sony. In fact, at last years E3 we got a very amateurish presentation by Sony on PS Move. It surely did not look close to being ready at all...
So when MS announced Kinect, Sony hadn't actually shown ...
Everything in the ToS is vanilla, meaning you can go read Sony's and it will contain the exact same things in different words.
The only difference maybe is this:
“You should not expect any level of privacy concerning your use of the live communication features (for example, voice chat, video and communications in live-hosted gameplay sessions) offered through the Service.”
They are specifically referring to "live-hosted gameplay sess...
I'm actually baffled that no-one reacted to the flamebait article. If you read the source, MS says:
"Now what we've always been very passionate about is that quality needs to be there, but more importantly, the consistency. So if I'm playing Halo: Reach, Gears of War, Call of Duty, the consistency of the service and the experience needs to be there regardless of what that entertainment application is.
"So that has been critical. As you c...
I was in the beta and don't remember even seeing a download screen for the final update. I did get the T&C page though.
I was about to question that too. How do they get Kinect Adventure numbers, since it is isn't sold separately?
