@Raendom
Well it doesn't matter anymore, this submission got approved anyways and not, this wasn't flame bait. But because this article doesn't appeal to you, why bother commenting further?
Thank you
That makes no sense. Mass Effect is a trilogy that builds off of the previous version. Final Fantasy games are all separate stories with new characters, new locations, new features etc....
The only Final Fantasy game that actually buildup off of a previous one was Final Fantasy X-2.
Yes, Mass Effect 2 is a great game but as a whole, Mass Effect is a great series so why only experience 2/3 of the series? That is the question. It is obvious that you didn't even read the article.
In contrast to this article, read this => http://www.gamezenith.com/?...
Again, people want to throw this "Well if you played ME1 and imported over to ME2, then you should have no problems with ME1 decisions in ME3"
That is not the argument. We all know that if you played ME1 on the PC/360 and imported your character(s) to ME2, then in ME3 your ME1 decisions should still matter and should still carry weight. Yes, in theory that is the truth. However, just because you can does not mean you have to and that is the case with Bioware. For ...
WRONG!
They said 1000 variables, not 1000 choices, two different things. Hell, there aren't even 1000 choices combined between ME1 and ME2.
I am not saying that ME1 as a game becomes obsolete, I am saying that the choices in ME1 becomes obsolete.
Also, just because they carried over to ME2, that does not mean they will carry over to ME3. Bioware could easily downplay the ME1 choices in ME3 and only play up the ME2 choices.
You are missing the point. Just because you have a save file from ME1, that doesn't mean that Bioware will utilize it to it's full potential in ME3.
Example, just because a console (Xbox 360/PS3) has online support in XBL and PSN, that doesn't mean that developers will always develop a game that has online multiplayer.
Lol, so it isn't okay to see an African-American character play someone who was previously white? Yet Hollywood has beeing doing this for YEARS when they would cast white characters to play Native Americans, Egyptians, and even Persians but no white people complained about that.
Funny
Thanks guys for the comments and support. It is a shame that this couldn't get through the approval process but I guess that just goes to show many things.
Again, thanks for the support and hopefully continued support as I try to speak my mind on this industry and hopefully gain a large following so that my word/message would become heard and not just held down at the bottom of the trash.
Thanks
Are you that sure or is that just a naive answer?
Even if you register, I think the list is already full. But it is worth trying.
I do not know, I know it is closed however.
I think there was an annoucement that they are accpeting request for the closed beta. This was done months ago and I believe they selected some of the first responses.
I wrote the article and you are not seeing the point of the article. The point isn't for DA2 to be like ME2. The point is for Bioware to put as much time, effort, and resources into DA2 as they did with ME2.
You are correct, graphics are not a vital part of a game but that isn't the point here. The point is Bioware's effort. We've seen what they've done in the graphics department and to be honest, ME would not be the same if it had DAO graphics. We've seen what Bioware can do so why won't they be able to do it with DA2? What is holding them back?
So this isn't about graphics and how important they are. This is about how much effort a developer is put...
So you hate my site because I speak my mind? Would you rather me be fake and an ass kisser and always say the right thing to make myself more attractive to advertisers to make money?
I mean its a damn if you do and damn if you don't situation. Thing is, I'm not out to please anyone and I could really careless if you like or hate sites like mine. If you feel that way, then GameZenith.com isn't for you, never visit again.
Thanks for all of the comments everyone! Positive or negative, it is very much appreciated
As for my take on the article, I know it may come across as me bashing MS because I didn't get into the Xbox 360 E3 Press Conference but got into the PlayStation E3 Press Conference but that isn't the point of the article. The article is my own personal opinions of a company that I believe is taking this success to the head after having the most humble beginnings with the Xbox...
Lol, its funny how people are quick to dismiss what I say because I am just a simple "blogger" with a "fansite". If IGN wrote this same article it wouldn't get this response but the truth is, those IGN guys are no different from me. Only difference is that they work for money, owned by a large corporation, and have the resources to have fancy videos and advertising....so that makes them more credible?
I'm not an 360 Loyalist but with Metal Gear Rising, there is no option to import a character that has made 300+ decisions which can effect the current playthrough.
Nice try
