You can deny it all you want all those 5+ people can disagree with me all they want but this society, especially American society, white women has always been the favored and "goto" race in terms of beauty. Don't believe me, well goto LA or NYC Fashion week. Don't believe me, well tell me how many times have you turned on CNN to see yet another attractive "White girl" gone missing. Now compare that to how many times you seen an black, asian, or hispanic girl that i...

I could careless

What does bother me is that out of 6 women to vote from, 5 of them are white/cacausian (one of them having a tan) with only one "ethnic" female.

Some things never change....

Yeah okay, we basically got 5 white women with one of them having a tan and one distinct "ethnic" female.

Yeah....Bioware was really trying to push the envelope there.

It is funny, Bioware is known for being the progressive developer in the industry and very innovative and forward thinking by doing things done in games that has never been done before. Yet when it comes to the very basic stuff that has plagued us from advancing as a society such as r...

In a way, I was sort of serious.

It is sad that we have "supposendly" came a long way as a society in terms of racial diversification but yet still hold onto old 1950s standards of beauty.

Bioware should have done was created 2 white women, two black women, two hispanic women, and two asian women and called it a day.

Instead we get 5 white women (one with tan skin) and one sorta ethic female who could be black/mixed/hispanic.

So we get about 5 "white" women and only 1 "ethnic" looking female.

[sarcasim]Boy we have really came far....[/sarcasim]

The RPG elements in ME3 better be like "nothing else"

5360d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

What about player stats and customization?

Most RPGs gives us deep and expansive character upgrade skills. ME2 only gave us like 4 for each set.

It is clear that Bioware water down the RPG elements to make it appeal to your casual Gears of War type shooter player.

ME3 like ME2 is just going to be another typical shooter with interactive dialog and MINOR RPG elements. Nothing more.

Exactly

It is funny to hear how ME3 is inspired by games like Halo and such but back in 2005/early 2006 with ME1, Bioware said that ME1 was inpsired by games such as Deus Ex and movies like Blade Runner and Star Trek 2.

Oh boy have the tables have turned....

How in any way is the lead Character in Star Hawk (Emmitt) a Thug or foolish?

You say that you cannot identify with thugish or foolish ways and then use Star Hawk a game that you will refuse to play which is implying something about the game's lead character.

Also the notion that white characters or white people in general speak to a variety of races and cultures as opposed to an Asian being able to do the same is also an interesting one and one that ...

I find it interesting how people are so ready to dismiss this article and call it "stupid" and even reverse everything and call the author a racist.

In all actuallity, the article does have a point. Do I believe MK is racist? No. Do I believe the creators of the recent MK games/movies are racist? No. However the article does bring up an interesting perspective of how things in the media are generally molded into the idea that the "white audience must identify...

Except the fact that the Medic class in BF3 is pretty much useless.

Why?

Well first off there is regenerative health so instead of needing a medic to heal me, I can just hide away from the fire and I'll heal all by myself.

Second, people are able to opt out of being revived with many people will take advantage of.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Medic in BC2 but in BF3, who really needs a medic when I can heal mysel...
