Who cares what reviewers say.

One person's opinion does not equal the true quality of a game.

BF3 is still an superior game to MW3. Why?

- Better Graphics
- Next Gen Engine
- Multiplayer that requires team play and less lone wolf
- 64 Players
- The Use of Vehicles which changes the landscape of the battlefield
- Destruction which changes the landscape of the battlefield

Exactly!

The Developers are paid on a fixed salary, not a commission. So if a graphics artist at Rocksteady has a salary of $55,000 a year, they are going to get that money if they sell 1 million units or 25 million units. So buying used does not cut into a developer's or even publisher's salary because that is fixed. The ONLY thing that is taken away from them are the bonuses.

So say they get a $2000 bonus for selling 1 million units and another $15...

I wish Bioware would tell this to websites whenever the media reviews their games or create write-ups based on hands-on experience....

And the reason for the ME3 delay to March 2012 is now confirmed! Bioware needed more time to cater to the Gears of War/Uncharted type game instead of trying to satisfy their current RPG audience. Oh wait! Their RPG audience is now irrelevant to them because they aren't as profitable! Yes yes, this is the new Bioware.

Also in the US we let women go free after she murdered her little daughter, even with all the evidence stacked up against her.

We also execute a man even though there was no physical evidence to link him to the murder.

Don't let me get started on Jim Crow laws....

Are you Irani? People these days are so insensitive to other perspectives that aren't their own.

Point is, it is easy to say that someone is too sensitive if you do not understand a situation or have a similar perspective as the other person.

I haven't bought my PC yet [Will by from Digital Storm] however I will use a GTX 590.

What other specs does your PC have such as processor and whatnot? I plan on using a i7 2600k, and 8GB of RAM to go with my GTX 590.

I'll also be playing on my 37" TV as a monitor which is 120hz and 1080p

If this was done in August, how is this intended to rebuild their image?

Also, so said that their image is broken? Any intelligent gamer would understand that the BETA is on a build that is a few weeks if not months old and nowhere near what the final version will be like. Take the PC for example, the PC version isn't even running on DX11 but rather DX10. So the graphics would dramatically improve come the retail version.

Also I believe most of the critic...

Thank You!

People act like this is a demo when that isn't it. This wasn't a demo aimed to wow people. This was a beta that DICE allowed everyone to play so they can get a ballpark estimate of server stress so that they can be ready come October 25th. This build is probably a month or two old and I doubt that the game now is as buggy as it is in the beta which is probably true because this is a BETA not a demo.

This is THE MAIN reason why E3 only allow...

What a closed-minded/narrow-minded comment.

Unless you are the entity that is being stereotyped, you cannot talk.

African-Americans in the media particularly are victom to stereotypes more often than any other demographic group. It also does not help that African-Americans are one of the least represented racial groups in the media. Which means that African-Americans aren't represented a lot [i.e. like in Videogames] but when they are, it is mostly a ...

I agree, but you have to understand that Bioware, is no longer concerned about the RPG gamer anymore. Their goals now is to woo the Action-Shooter gamer. You know, the Gears of War/Uncharted gamer. So for THOSE fans, yes, this is news that they have been waiting for.

You have to look at it from that perspective.

I plan on playing on a 37" Vizio TV. It is 1080p and 120hz.

Are there any specific things such as a GPU that I'll need to be able to use a monitor of that size?

I "went overboard" on the parts because I copied what I have from Digital Storm and pasted it here.

As for my use of this PC, it will be ONLY for gaming.

The reason why I posted those specs here because I WANTED to know if I was going overboard [over paying] for parts that I really do not need. I do not want to buy a GTX 590 to max out BF3 when a GTX 570 or GTX 580 could have Maxed/Ultra out BF3.

I will be buying Starcraft 2, Skyri...

I am actually quite serious. I am new to PC gaming and I will purchase my PC from Digital Storm early next month. The stats shown above are for what I have saved in my checkout.

I want to play BF3 in the highest settings so I want to know that I am buying the proper stuff. I was going to just get a i5 and GTX 570 but I was "told" that those would only give me the opportunity to play at medium to medium-high settings but not max which is what I want.

QUESTION:

If I have a...

- Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40GHz
- 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
- 1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 3GB (Includes PhysX Technology)

Can I play BF3 at the highest settings? Mind you I will be using just one 37 inch Vizio [120hz/1080p/1920 x 1080 pixels] monitor and do not care about the 3D Surround stuff.

Am I able to run at Ultra/Max settings?

No, Higher player count does not equal better game. But in the case of Battlefield, it DOES make a better game.

Unlike most games which are meant to be enjoyed with smaller counts, Battlefield is built on the premise that there would be a large count of player running around doing various things. Go all the way back to Battlefield: 1942 on the PC. Some of my greatest matches was when the game was filled with 64 players making it a 32 v 32 experience. When it was like 7 v 7 or...

At this point it just seems like overkill. This game was announced at what? E3 2006 and 5 years later, we are still basically in the dark.

The only hardcore information/footage that we have about the game came from leaks and not official sources. So without those leaks, we in 2011 would still be eating off of 2006 information which is really sad.

Just like KOTOR was a better version of Neverwinter Nights and look how much of an impact KOTOR had on the RPG genre....especially the WRPG genre.
