I'm not saying that having huge maps automatically makes a game good, but in no way does having huge maps automatically makes the game bad.
In fact, depending on the type of game, having huge maps actually DOES make the game better. Now there are games with huge maps that are still bad like Two Worlds, and the True Crimes games. However having huge maps with a very lively enviornment really does add to the atmosphere and immersion of a videogame,...
So would you rather have linear corridor game?
@LarVanian,
Yes, you are right about Victor Vance in VCS, but also you have to understand that Vice City Stories wasn't a huge AAA title in the same way San Andreas or even Vice City was. VCS was a PSP title that not many people played so not many people experienced Victor in VCS.
However if Victor Vance's story was the forefront in 2002's Vice City instead of Tommy Vercetti, then we would be having a different conversation because WAAAAYYYY more...
True, GTA: SA was a high selling game even with a black character as the lead. However, the character was in a very stereotypical role just like other GTA characters like Italians and such.
What we have not seen is a black character as the protagonist that is NOT some racially stereotype like a CJ in GTA:SA or Cole Train in Gears of War.
The inside theory is that developers cannot sell a black guy to a white audience unless that black guy is an exaggerated st...
This is a business decision more than anything. EA decided that releasing Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3, and Star Wars: The Old Republic so close together in the same quarter was stupid and they needed some heat to start 2012 off right.
So to appease to their shareholders and stakeholders, EA is moving ME3 into early 2012 to sort of spread out their heavy hitters.
We'll probably have TOR in the Late Summer/Early Fall
Battlefield 3 Late Fall/Early ...
You forget to mention Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Star Wars: The Old Republic
You just used RPG and ME2 in the same sentence.
LOL
@cgoodno
I guess I'm just going to have to agree to disagree.
Your reply digs deeper into the notion of either jealousy or just pure resentment for a guy NO MATTER how much he betters himself off of the field.
If there is anything that I learned in my 25 years of living is that no matter what, you're just going to have those who always has something negative to say about you, even when you're doing something positive.

Hilary is pointing out the idea that Vick doesn't deserve to be on the cover because of his past actions with some people (such as himself) love toe exaggerate. He is implying that because he made a mistake, that 2nd changes is eliminated for him.
I do not want to get biblical or anything but like the old saying goes, he who has not sinned cast the first stone. I doubt Hilary has NEVER committed a morally wrong act EVER in his life.
Opinion or not, you still cannot deny the fact that people love to point the finger at someone else for their mistakes, despite having flaws themselves.
As NYC_Gamer pointed out, people act like they are SO perfect and has NEVER made a mistake in which they needed a 2nd (or sometimes 3rd) chance to get back on their feet.
Do you even know what a RPG is?
How so?
There is still Star Wars: The Old Republic, Skyrim, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution
With Battlefield 3 coming out this year, Call of Duty news is supposed to be exciting?
I hope she doesn't come back.
She was already forced on us in ME2 due to Bioware caving into Fanservice so I just hope she only makes a cameo in ME3 at the most.
Great show man!
I loved the bit on Mortal Kombat, very informative! I like your take on gaming as it offers a very unique perspective for the industry, keep it up!
Also I like the blend of gaming+hiphop and how the two cultures can be merged together.
Keep up the great work and just continue to do your thing and be yourself. You're going to get haters because you're unique and very different from the "normal" videogame repor...
No, I am just saying that people should not act like their interpretations of everything is how the WHOLE WORLD should see things. What I find funny others might not find funny. What I do not find offensive might not mean others might not find it offensive.
In other words, it all comes down to not being so tunnel vision and realize that we aren't robots who all think alike but rather humans with a wide variety of opinions, emotions, and perceptions.
In re...
My point it just because something isn't offensive to you doesn't mean it isn't to others. What you might find funny and humorous could be bland and offensive to others.
The world does not revolve around your interpretations of things. Yes, if this mode is a problem to you, then do not play the game or play the mode. That isn't the point, the point is that people want to say "Well just havea sense of humor". While that is easy to say, its hard for ...
Thanks for taking time to actually reading the article
:)
It means buy a console.
Unfortunately, you are right. I might be only 25 years old, but I began to game at an early age (4 years old). I grew up with the traditional JRPG and all the elements that it had. Today, the younger generation is growing up believing that Mass Effect 2 is what a traditional RPG is, to them, THAT is a RPG and stuff like turn-based RPGs are just old stuff that never made sense.
Unlike my generation which grew up seeing FPS as purely a PC niche, today's generation sees FPS ...
