All the regions marked "Hard" have level 36 and 49 Man-o-Wars that are carrying tons of cargo and money. Royal Convoys (the ships marked "R" on your map) will net the most money in these regions, but don't pop up all the time. The Man-o-Wars are pretty consistent and respawn quickly.
To get level 60 Man-o-Wars (either for their cargo or for collecting for Kenway's fleet) there is one non-respawning one outside New Bone (I've never seen it respa...
The two fastest ways to make money is taking over ships and utilizing the Kenway's Fleet minigame. Between the two you'll easily be bring in more money then you can spend.
Also, concentrate on getting money and materials for ship upgrades first. Once you have eliminated your need to keep cloth, metal, and wood for ship upgrades you can sell these resources with rum and sugar and begin raking in serious money.
With a maxed out ship Man-o-Wars carrying ...
It's only mandatory for synchronous online play. I personally am very anti-social with games and rarely ever play online. ALL services, such as Netflix, Hulu, and even screenshots, videos, and streaming, besides the online multiplayer (PS4 only) and cloud saves is FREE on PlayStation.
Be careful playing the pay to play card. You can still get by without Plus on the PlayStation platforms. However, the biggest difference is that PS+ actually offers something of real value w...
I agree. This is most likely a decal or a stupidly good faux paint job.
If I'd do anything like this though I'd like to make the PS4 look like the NES-PS4 render that has popped up on N4G a couple times.

Every little bit helps. Like I posted above, with the battery capacity already being small even something that doesn't take that much power like an LED can still consume a lot of power in comparison to the rest of the device. Also, the more power applied to an LED the brighter it gets, so while it doesn't take much power to illuminate an LED you can still pump an enormous amount of power into it to make a single LED brighter -- at least until the LED act...
It would be nice just for the sake of the battery. I did some looking around after my curiosity bit me and the DS4 does have a smaller mWH (milliwatt/hour) battery than the DS3. This combined with the new light bar and speaker it is no wonder that the DS4 has a shorter playtime than the DS3.
At least the battery life lasts most of a day of constant use, but it would be nice if it could last a little longer.
I wouldn't be so quick to lump Konami in with the likes of a company like EA (Square is further over to the dark side than Konami), but I'm not surprised that something like this could happen. Business is business, but it would have been nice to give a little notice.
If you activate your PS4 as your "Primary system" you don't even need to change your password on your PS4 unless you EXPLICITLY log out and the back in again. A trust relationship is already setup between the network and your Primary system.
My PS4 auto logged in even after the mandatory password change (has to be done on a PC). It never requested for the new password unless I accessed account information (which is ALWAYS required even if the correct password in...
A lot of evidence has been leading toward feudal Japan. There is enough there for the game elements to fit, at least the platforming/free-running - naval combat could possibly be made to work.
I could see a pre-American revolution London working - for both the ongoing story and gameplay elements, but I believe fans would be more receptive to the Japanese setting.
In more detail to what IcicleTrepan is referring:
The Video Game Market crash of the '80s was due to the market being VERY small in comparison to now and having too many console competitors in the market. Also, with the vast variety of consoles there was also a vast variety of poorly made software flooding the market on these different systems.
All these factors together caused HUGE market confusions and drove ALL but Nintendo, Sega, and Atari (who scrape...
I wouldn't say the story is all over the place. They just ran a long ways with the precursor twist at the end of AC2. A lot had happened regarding the present day over the course of Brotherhood, Revelations, and AC3. Not so much that a good wiki can't catch you up though.
AC4 did fix a lot of the nagging issues that AC3 had and I'll be damned if they haven't perfected naval combat. I spend more time in AC4 fighting and taking over ships than I did in the rest ...
That's the thing though. A new CEO is almost MORE of a wild card. Don't get me wrong, I think it is still needed.
Even Steve Jobs was bad for Apple is some ways; Cook has made the company in my opinion more open and humanitarian -- Jobs' rule was more draconian (don't believe me, look at his biography and see how he treated employees -- he was a jerk).
With Microsoft, Bill bowed out and now it is Balmer's turn. Hopefully the new choice of ...
While I'll agree this seems like a lackluster improvement over the current gen offerings, Tomb Raider was still a good reboot.
I really enjoyed the game. For what they are adding to the "next gen" versions though I'll pass as the previous gen versions were good enough visually to me and I've already got my entertainment out of it.
That said, for those hold outs out there this would still be a good game to pick up if you already have a PS...
Keep in mind that once Balmer officially leaves there will be that much less in the way of investors forcing Microsoft to let the Xbox division go, either by selling it or making it independent.
Microsoft has had a REAL bad run as of late with ALL their products across the board. The Zune has all but failed; Window 8 is still facing a good amount of resistance to be adopted as the new defacto standard; the first runs of Surface tablets was totally botched due to being WAY ove...
@qu1ckset
Yeah, my only argument about the DualShock4 is the short battery life in comparison to the Dualshock3 or Sixaxis.
It's not short enough for an entire day of gaming, but if you use the system daily you'll need to charge your controller every night. I'm seriously considering a charging dock that I can leave plugged in all the time. Note you can buy a smidge more time by turning the volume on the controller speaker all the way down to off -...
I like the picture morphs they did.
The DualShock4 is definitely a nice evolution. What is funny is for the past couple weeks I've used it, it felt so damn weird using the DualShock3 last night. The DS3 felt tiny and awkward now that I've become accustomed to the DS4.
The original Xbox controller was a bomb because it was just too big. I know that it was based on the Dreamcast's controller, but even that controller was terrible. The "S" ...
This is a blissfully narrow view. It only focuses on the major players - with Atari thrown in for a gag.
In reality there have been a CRAP-ton of consoles released - most during the gaming market crash in the 80's due to over-saturation (too many consoles on the market).
Generations (note - some overlap; I'm listing ones that stand out, there's more though):
1st ('72-'80) Odyssey / Telstar
2nd ('76-'83) Atari 2600 /...
The difference between Forza and GT that everyone is missing and lumping GT into the same mess for the wrong reasons though is that Forza's Unlocking model had been off-balanced to "incentivize" the microtransactions.
PD has already confirmed that the unlocking model (aka car prices and cash rewards for races) is identical to GT5. So in GT6's case the microtransactions HAVE NOT been incentivized -- you can still grind the good old fashioned way and earn your...
Seeing as Japan isn't getting their PS4s until next freaking year I'm not surprised. It's the holiday season, they have to buy something too, and I'm sure the market has already been saturated with PS3s.
We all saw this coming from Japan. Nintendo and Sony never have issues on their home turf and sell well enough for each other. Microsoft should be the only one worried in this region.
On a side note: Anyone else think it is absurd and unfair t...
There is so much irony in that statement. Just think about FarCry and AC3/4 for a while -- hint all three have the same development studio.
