I find the best way to make a decision on a game is to watch a few gameplay videos and decide if that style of gameplay appeals to you and if you would really enjoy that style of game.

It's almost a one sided fist fight. The PS4 version just seems sharper and so much more dynamic.

Seriously, Windows 8, Zune, Windows Phone, Surface, and Xbox One have ALL had issues with the public. Zune is a certified failure by now and the rest were/are very poorly received by the public either due to controversy or complete lack of interest.

I'm happy with the game selection starting out for the PS4. Frankly, I'm glad the heavy hitters are more spread out anyways. This is better for ANY console (to an extent).
Think about it. If there were 10 major games (and I mean every type of gamer would want to own and buy) you'd have 10 games to divide your attention between. For some people this isn't a problem, but I'd like to imagine for a majority of people this would be sensory overload.

For what it is worth though, SATAIII SSDs have also been designed better to have longer lifespans via writes and rewrites. The older SATAII SSDs while cheaper per GB just aren't anywhere near as robust as SATAIII drives made within the last year.
Still though, unless you really want the performance gains over the capacity, conventional(up to 2TB in 2.5") or hybrid drives (up to 1TB+8GB in 2.5") are a far more enticing option for the PS...

Take off the tin foil man. We aren't talking full on regulation here. Just a kick in the pants to ISPs to (1) lower their outrageous rates - (2) funding for government development projects to seriously upgrade the infrastructure responsible for delivering the internet throughout the country.

I wouldn't have defined any of the Crash games (those being pre-Activision) as hard or punishing.
All Crash took was control mastery and knowing a few shortcuts for the time trial challenges. Knack will most likely be the same. Challenging yes, hard no.

Camping is pointless in this day and age. With multiple online retailers, you can place your order and get it when you get it. Sure you'll never see them on the shelves, because 90% of the consoles will be sold via the web before they have even left the retailers' warehouses.

Well, Sony knows they can't. Taco Bell is giving away PS4s early, so those PS4 would be legitimately turned on and connected early. This doesn't take into account any other companies who have paid up for PS4s for promos.
There is no way to easily tell them apart unless Sony tracked the serial numbers for EVERY machine Taco Bell used for their promo (possible, but really kind of a waste of resources).

Hey if you like Bing then use it. I've tried, but I keep going back to Google. In my experience with Google, I can type the vaguest search (3 random words related to what I'm searching for) and I have had great luck getting what I want in the first 3 search hits.
Bing on the other hand, even with the MOST specific search hasn't always given me what I'm looking for. ...
While agree that chasing fads can lead to costly gambles, I'd would agree to seeing Nintendo at least bring some sort of achievement/trophy system to their console.
Yes there are trophy/achievement whores out there that play bunches of games (some of questionable difficulty) to pump up their lists, but for every one thing trophies/achievements do wrong they do far more right.
For me I enjoy trophies for some sort of re-playability or personal goal setting...
This can be related to a multitude of things from a combination of factors. Most common is quality/speed of your internet connection to the server (a slow connection my not be your fault due to getting routed trough a slow server between you and Sony's servers) or you're system's database needs to be rebuilt on the hard drive (think defragging the PS3 hard drive).

With the number of missions and stuff to do in Peace Walker, you can easily drop 50 hours in and still not do half of what there is to do.
I think my last save file for PW was around 100+ hours. I've played the liven crap out of that game. The only reason I stopped was the overwhelming difficulty of the extra Monster Hunter missions with each of the dragons - finishing them is one thing, S-Ranking them is another.
