How exactly did you reach that conclusion from my comment pointing out that even a pandemic won't change human nature and our drive for violence? I'm not surprised that you missed the point of TLOU Part 2 if you can't even understand one paragraph.

I think you missed the point TLOU Part 2 was trying to make. What does humanity do in the face of devastating pandemic that kills most of the population and leaves a horde of infested creatures that are out to kill the remaining humans? We kill each other over land or for revenge. We like to think of ourselves as noble creatures that come together when it really counts but we all know that deep down that isn't true. That is the story that TLOU Part 2 is telling.

It's coming and it is fantastic. I've seen other games try to do this but this is the first time I feel the topic is successfully handled. Also, it is less about making you feel guilty about killing things and more about making you think about violence.

It is unfair to place all the criticism of The Last of Us Part 2 on non-Sony fans. Sure, some of it may be coming from fanboys but most of it is coming from those who don't like the game because it doesn't align to their social views and want to see it fail.

They don't have to appreciate the culture to jump on the bandwagon if it suits their social/political motivations. All those complaining about Sony's censorship of Japan's sexualized games at the hands of "California liberal SJWs) are completely ok with the fact that actual pornography is censored by the Japanese. Maybe they should of saved some of their faux outrage over the "creative oppression" of the Japanese for an actual government that is censoring Japanese...

Gamers like to complain about the Ubisoft games formula but seeing how much dislike Assassin's Creed (and Far Cry 2) receive, we are getting exactly what we asked for. The original Assassin's Creed was innovative and based on pure gameplay and gamers complained. The sequels were filled with pointless collectibles and meaningless minigames and gamers rejoiced. This is the dumbest and most pointless article I've read today. Sony already corrected the mistake of not fully supporting this type of game with the funding and release of Bloodborne.

You do know that anyone can do what I did and look at your comment history, right? What you buy is irrelevant. What I am commenting on is the fact that the majority of your time here on n4g is spent attacking Sony and defending Microsoft. So again, what do you get by spending your time to come here and attack Sony and defend Microsoft?

I don't think anyone is shocked to see you who cries loudest about censorship to be the first one here to tell someone else how they should live their lives.

Except it isn't just an RPG. It is a game based around action-RPG combat with a huge MMO type world. Problem is that the combat becomes trivial once you are over-leveled and you will always be over-leveled if you ever try to do some of the side quests the game world has to offer. Most games similar to Kingdoms of Amalur - Diablo, Borderlands, God of War, Elder Scrolls Online - have either enemies that scale with players or a New Game+ mode so I don't see how you can say they are ba...

The game needs to either constantly scale with player level or have a New Game+ mode. Once you got over-leveled in a zone, everything became boring, repetitive, and pointless. It is one of the few games I platinumed that I really disliked by the end.

Props though to THQ's naming department. I believe people joked about calling a remaster of the game by that title whenever people talked about games they wanted to see remastered.

Since when are credits for a song used in a video game commercial an expected thing? There was no uproar with Sucker Punch not saying anything about the artists in the "Heart Shaped Box" trailer. Nobody noticed when Fromsoft didn't list Ruby Friedman in the "Cut You Down" trailer. Is the Gears of War trailer less great because it didn't list Gary Jules in his cover of the Tears for Fears song Mad World?

I don't think anyone is surprised by the reaction this article got here at n4g. Race doesn't matter, at least until next week when we get another article about XBox and Japanese gamers/developers and then everyone will be giving suggestions on how to cater to a race.
