So much BS comes out of Phil Spencer. All he ever does is look at past XBox games and make wild promises about them being the future. Phantom Dust, Perfect Dark, Crackdown - how did all those revivals go? Not that he is any better with new games he promotes such as Fable Legends, Scalebound, and Everwild.
So you are saying that gamers could use their attacks without getting hit even though the game lacked a dodge. So much for the idea that games without dodge were the results of game design without the thought of what many gamers want to experience in a game.

Dead Space didn't have a dodge mechanic and if that meant you were just standing around getting hit, that was a skill issue on your part.
When was the last time Sony actually put PS Plus Essential on sale? This isn't it since the offer is only for an undefined "eligible PS Plus subscribers." I suppose you cannot have record profits if you don't keep charging your customers full price for everything.

When Sony makes it clear that none of those PC gamers playing Sony published games that require or did require a PlayStation Network account to play are counted in the only metric they talk about when it comes to growth...
I guess that is one way to spin a hardware manufacture saying "moving away from a hardware-centric business to more to the community-based engagement business." Sure, it doesn't mean Sony published games will be multi-platform - but the response highlights how great they feel their investment in Bandai Namco - which makes multi-platform games - has been to the stability of the company.

It is not every day that I get to read an article pointing to a videogame that is releasing on PC, PlayStation, and XBox and another game published by Bandai Namco as proof of Sony's return to "quirky games."
Sony does need to return to their roots but since they've closed most of their studios that took those risks it will not be easy. It would also be nice to return to those times where we go more than 1 new first-party exclusive a year. It is hard to ...

Why do you assume that "WHEN A SALE OCCURS are more likely to be discounted or discounted more for me?" This is dynamic pricing, which means the price is determined on all the data Sony has harvested on you. Sony could look at your past online purchases and gameplay habits and decide that a game in series that you have played in the past doesn't need to be discounted as much for you during a sale since you will buy it eventually. Compare that...
