Thanks, but I had my fill with Metroid Melee Counter: Samus Returns. Metroid Prime 4 looks to be a cross-gen game with the next Nintendo handheld if it ever does get released since right now it is just vaporware.
It was pretty clear that the shortage was caused by the pandemic, yet the fanboys denied that could ever happen. Some fool even said "The FUD is strong against PS5 as with the PS3 launch and PS4 launch certain quarters were clamouring for them to drop out...." in their poor attempt to discredit news that wasn't favorable to Sony.
Bloomberg said that PS5 production for FY2020 was cut to 11 million from 15 million, yet in the end Sony wasn't even able to pr...
Remember when Sony fanboys went crazy over the Bloomberg article saying that Sony was cutting PS5 production over chip shortages. Now the same ones bring up the pandemic and its impact on production whenever they can. Bloomberg was right and PS5 production even fell well below the estimate they gave in that article.

@blue-eyedleopard
"Wow, that list of games is embarrassing." Exactly, which is why I don't see the need to lie about MS not publishing any new IPs. MS doesn't have a quantity problem but a quality problem and buying up studios isn't going to change that. Also, these are games published by MS - not first party games. It is the same thing as when people bring up Returnal and Destruction AllStars as proof that Sony is still committed to new IPs.
@ApocalypseShadow
"The problem is an almost 2 TRILLION market cap company hasn't produced any new IPs in a decade."
That is not true and it is really hard to understand how anyone can make that big of a mistake. Instead you should make the argument that MS hasn't produced a lot of quality new IPs lately, which is what XBox has always struggled with. But as for new IPs produced in the last decade there is Bleeding Edge, Grounded, Ori an...
Very nice! I can't wait to add these to all the great Playstation Funkos they put out in 2020. It's great that Sly Cooper is getting some attention finally.
@Michiel1989
"their biggest profit isnt from selling consoles though. they make profit of every game sold for the platform, every single game sold."
You literally just proved my point. Thank you. Sony's end goal is to sell consoles, not exclusives, because people buying software on those consoles is where the money is. Sony gets a cut of every game a Playstation owner buys as well as making money off of PS+ subscriptions, and in order t...
Again with the strawman attacks instead of attempting to validate your point. I'd really like to know about all these pro-XBox comments I've been making over the years since in your mind anyone who disagrees with a decision Sony makes must be love XBox. Feel free to list some of those comments here. It would give you something to do since you still cannot defend your original comment. The latest was barely an effort. Apparently, EA and Activision put out the same game every year ...
Yeah, slinking away is probably for the best. The historical facts are not on your side.
@NealGamby
" Not to mention the little fact that Uncharted came out a WHOLE YEAR AFTER the PS3 was already released" And yet you are defending Sony for releasing God of War Ragnorak on the PS4 in 2022. Math doesn't seem to be your strong suit. Also, I'm pretty sure the PS3 didn't sell 100 million units in that year so how again does releasing Uncharted only on PS3 not alienate millions of PS2 users? "That would be stupid to give up that many s...
That is really amusing coming from you who is such a massive Sony fanboy that you have to comment on almost every XBox article. Nice to see the strawman attack instead of an actual response to Uncharted's release completely invalidating your statement.
If you read enough of my comment history, you'd see that I'm a big Sony fan. Since I am not a fanboy like you though, I will call them out on decisions I don't like - just like I do with Nintendo. You on ...
Sony didn't care about alienating PS2 owners when they released Uncharted for just the PS3.
It is probably good that you are not running this business because you seem to think that Sony is in the business of selling video games. Sony is a console maker and that is what matters to them. If they cared about how many copies a game sold, they would just be a publisher like EA, Activision, Ubisoft, etc. and put their games on all platforms.
The only time I can think of that Sony published a cross-gen game was LittleBigPlanet 3 for PS3/PS4. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune wasn't released on PS2. God of War 2 was just released for PS2 even though it came out after the PS3 launched. Same thing with Gran Turismo 6 only being a PS3 game. Sony has always had their first-party studios making games for just one console generation. They are in the business of selling consoles and the way that you do that is by making games one ca...
@elazz
That really has nothing to do with it though. Different console architecture didn't prevent third-parties from releasing all the cross-gen games for the PS3 and PS4, or even the PS2 and PS3. Sony used to believe in generations, which is why God of War 2 was just released on the PS2 even though it came out after the launch of the PS3. Same thing with Gran Turismo 6 releasing on the PS3 in December 2013. It is why Uncharted just released on the PS3 in 2007 even...
How exactly does that work? China worked to shut down the world economy in order to prevent consumers from buying a PS5 that is made in China???
Completely different things. Knack, Killzone SF, Infamous SS, and Driveclub were not on PS3. Prior to the PS5, LittleBigPlanet 3 is the only game in the history of Playstation to be a cross-gen game. Sony has always done the best job at supporting their existing platform while at the same time supporting the next-gen platform with first-party games made just for it. Now though, PS5 owners will have to wait until 2023 to really start getting games made just for it.
No pressure, but if it doesn't do well Sony is going to give you the axe. Just look at Japan Studio, Guerilla Cambridge, Evolution Studios, Zipper Interactive, etc.
Not in Japan. You have to love that these people whining about the censorship of Japanese material are completely silent about the Japanese censorship of real-life human genitalia.
Asobi Team was always first party. They were a Japan Studio team created in 2012.
@Christopher
"ESO online has the largest community on PS4." No, it doesn't. The last I heard (in 2016) is that it is split about 30/30/30 between PC, PS4, and XBox. Feel free to post some links backing up your claims because Google can't find it and as a daily ESO player I don't think anyone has thought that ESO was bigger on PS4 than PC and XBox combined.
