The news was completely correct though. The story was that Sony cut PS5 production estimates from 15 to 11 million units during FY2020 in response to production shortages related to its chip. Sony's Q4 FY2020 report revealed that they shipped 7.8 million PS5's in FY2020 - a far cry from 15 million units.

I don't think averaging 60k concurrent players on Steam charts is the sign of a successful game when compared to other live-service games. It has dedicated players and whales that fund Destiny 2 but even amongst them there are few that trust Bungie enough to get involved with their next game.
I imagine the price was quite cheap considering N4G's sister sites are all dead and N4G barely cracks 70 pending stories these days (was regularly over 200 when I joined). Hopefully the site gets better moderators under the new ownership.
Well they did a very good job of handling Magic the Gathering's 30th Anniversary. The 4 packs of proxy cards for $1000 was so well received last year that Hasbro stock price dropped 40%.

Why call it an awards show when 90% of it is commercials? At least with E3 there was honesty about the trailers being shown and the financial benefit for the publishers involved.

It seems you didn't see the speech AND didn't bother reading the article since you are saying that a journalist who calls out the poor way The Game Awards treated Christopher Judge while he was speaking as "the problem." Basically, you are ok with The Game Awards playing music over Judge's speech and flashing "please wrap it up" when he had the nerve to talk for over 2 minutes during an awards show that only gives out a few awards live on stage.
Far Cry 2 worked well - you got to choose who was the protagonist and the ones you didn't choose then tried to kill you.
Also, everybody was better than Jason Brody.

This is what customers should be concerned about. Everything else is just a smokescreen. Do you really think Nintendo Japan is being bombarded with threats and harassment from Japanese customers? What Nintendo's new policy does do is allow it to blacklist anyone who posts about a defective product on social media.
Except that those recordings are done to protect them, not you. You do not have access to them and cannot use them to show that you were being reasonable. If a company wants to deny you service and use your behavior as an excuse, do you really think they they will provide proof that contradicts their claim?

It's too expensive for the games currently offered. The cost of the unit itself will become less relevant when gamers have more reasons to buy it. Until Sony starts producing a library for PSVR2, it will mostly be just tech enthusiasts who buy it.
Hollow Knight deserves it's score. It is a fantastic game and is much better than the most of the AAA games you seem to favor.

Sony sold 7.5 million PS4s in FY2013 and 7.8 million PS5s in FY2020. It is amusing that you think Sony came out of the PS4 generation with over 2/3 market share in the console market and wanted to produce the exact same number of consoles as they did when they left with PS3 generation with only 1/3 market share. Sony has had to cut production forecasts every year for the PS5 and 2020 was no different - unless you are one of those that think Covid affected everyone but your favorite console ...
