Damn you EA for trying to add value to your subscription service. How dare you do that!!
I have zero doubts anymore that this will be good. Every piece of footage they've dropped has been outstanding. Sledgehammer looks to be on their way to making a name for themselves.
You're comparing someone with Fassbenders talent to Paul WS Anderson? Fassbedner is a pretty big deal at the moment so if he's picking this to be his next film, I'm sure the script is great.
The fanboys don't build competition. The game creators, publishers and the general public do that.
There's a difference between liking the console and flat out shitting on everything else that makes up the art. Your comment is absolutely right. If someone loves JRPG's and that's the only genre they play then they'll more than likely only buy a PS4 and Vita for this gen. I'm ok with that. That doesn't make him any less of a gamer. My problem lies with people that will buy a console that suits their needs and then continuously take the piss out of everything else.
Your point is half right and half wrong. When I root for a sports team I usually root for that team because 1 I was born in the city the team represents, 2 a player I lik is on the team, or it was ingrained in me from childhood to like that team. The thing is I love the yankees. I'm a Yankee fanboy, but I don't hate the other 29 teams and hate baseball outside of my little bubble. The problem is you have people that say they're gamers, but then completely thrash another 50 percen...
Meh idiots will always argue over stuff. It will never " stop". That goes for video games, comics, technology, ect. The thing I've never got about the video game arguments is people rarely argue about the video games, but rather argue about the systems. When was the last time you saw someone debate games within the same genre against each other? People compare 1 plastic box against another plastic box and then make up their arguments off of useless facts. I've never got how ...
I love those old school skill based shooters that required team work. Those rainbow six games were so excellent at employing that. Between this, Qunatum Break, and The Witcher make up my most anticipated games of 2014. Each game is bringing stuff I love about each genre and bringing it back to a huge scale.
Didn't they show like 5 minutes of XB1 gameplay at E3?
Spec Ops probably has the best twist ending ever in a video game.
They care because they have to pay a percentage back to the publishers for each sale when people buy new. If people trade in their discs for like 30 to 40 dollars cheaper than what they paid for the new copy and Gamestop can sell Destiny for 55 bucks and get 100 percent profit for it, then it's worth it for them.
A buddy of mine used to work at gamestop and that's common practice man. They will push those physical discs and used games so hard to the point they'll push it over new games. Their entire business revolves around used game sales because they make 100 percent profit off of them.
It's ok. I don't think it was great, but it's far from as horrible as a lot of reviews say. You can tell it just wasn't as polished as it could've been.
Gucamelee is the best platformer I've played in the last decade. I'm not an indie game lover but that game showed how talented Drink Box was.
You conveniently didn't name all of the Xbox One games.
Sounds like you have some deep seeded mental issues.
I have a love hate relationship with delays. To me if you're an elite software creator you should be able to meet your deadlines with little to no problem. I also believe 70 percent of the delays that get announced are due to marketing and date position reasons and less to do with thee technical reasons. I think Turtle Rock saw the game was probably not tracking well, which companies can see this early on, and probably pushed it back. Then again if a game is not ready or is flawed in any...
34 million copies shipped is mind boggling. They're easily probably going to hit 40 with zero problems.
GTA is such a massive game franchise. I remember going to the midnight release to pick up my copy and the different backgrounds, races, ages, and gender diversity that lined up for this game just shows how big it is. Rockstar could release the next GTA with zero advertising outside of a trailer and people will trust them and buy the game. I can't think of one game that has that kind of effect outside of maybe COD
My FPS fix will be itched. Destiny, then Far Cry 3, then COD AW, then Halo MCC. Sounds good to me. Sunset and Forza will just have to sit on my table until 2015.
