Can't really fault the guy for his position. If consoles would hold back his vision and ambitions for the game then don't make it for consoles.
I haven't played or watched Destiny in action. I really don't know if that's trying to be a competitive shooter or just world of warcraft with guns. If it's an competitive team based shooter that would be majorly disappointing.
A lot of devs seem to want to do indie games nowadays. Maybe there's no money in making AAA games anymore, or maybe he thinks it's easier and less stressful making small indie games with 5 or 10 people.
TBH I haven't played an assassins creed game since the second one, but this one from the E3 presentation completely sold me. The graphics look outstanding, easily one of the best next gen I've seen, and the game play for some reason looks much sharper and better from the previous ones.
I might buy a Wiiu in a couple of months. Some dude on here posted a link to a refurbished wiiu for like 200 bucks. I might jump on that lol.
Depends on the game and the creators vision. Every game dev wants to hit 1080P 60FPS, but these consoles are just not strong enough to provide elite visuals and great framerates simultaneously, unless you have wizard programmers that can do it. Some devs want their game to have great graphics at the expense of frame rate, so they go 1080P 30FPS.
60FPS is a must on shooters. Period. There's certain games where you can get away with 30FPS locked, Shooters like this and Racing sims are not one of them.
I have a feeling it will get delayed, but who knows. Uncharted 3 came out in 2011, so it should be ready to go by 2015. The only thing that could delay it is if they totally started from scratch when those ND employees left.
I'll probably buy a PS4 next year if the list of exclusives stays and none of these get delayed. Not really a Dark Souls or Demon Souls guy, so Bloodbourne doesn't do much for me. I need to see more of No Mans Sky for me to get excited about it. The Order I have mixed feelings about, but the game looks like a mix between gears of war and uncharted, so that's enough for me to buy it alone. And Uncharted is one of the greatest game franchises of all time. I don't think many peop...
Meh, depends on the price. Crysis isn't really a system seller and Timesplitters is not really one either. I guess they could buy them and just spread each team out as an individual team and ahve them make new and existing IP. I just don't see the value in them. Capcom on the other hand has legit system seller IP's and I could see where the investment would be worthwhile.
rdgneoz3, I'm going to post this here since for some reason I can't reply to your comment. What does Crytek having financial problems have to do with their expertise on technology? That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard anyone say on here. These guys are easily some of the most gifted programmers and game designers in the world and their games, no matter how flawed the combat and story were, always stood out for their animations and graphics. You're saying this...
Idk about the Cloud ever helping graphics, but what really excites me and no one ever talks about this, is the effects it could have on AI. Drivatar flat out works and changes the way racing AI plays. It's not perfect and it's not 100 percent there, but it's pretty damn good. I have no clue why this tech can't be put into shooters or action games where you could take the way real humans play and put into the AI enemies attacks through cloud data.
This could c...
What ever happened to DBZ? Did they just end the Canon with GT or is the creator simply not making a whole new storyline? I haven't seen DBZ in years, but didn't it end with Goku dying or something? I mean couldn't they just do it with his grand sons or great grand sons and just do a different arch?
Probably my most anticipated shooter of the year outside of MCC, Destiny, and AW. Far Cry 3 was very very good. Btw, why doesn't Ubisoft ever get mentioned with the top publishers when it comes to game quality? I was looking at their games they released in the last 10 years and the quality, the new IP, and the acclaimed AAA franchises they have is insane. Idk why people don't give them much respect.
Far Cry 3 sold extremely well. Most retailers will treat this a big game and push it hard. It won't do Watchdogs numbers, but 6 million in 6 or so months after release is not out of the realm of possibility for this.
Lol why would they envy anything? One COD game does the same revenue as all of the ND games post Uncharted 1 combined.
Idk how this is a competition, but just looking at the available games and deals the 360 has far better value and games in this sale.
Hey Nintendo, remember all of those years you pissed off third parties with your BS policies. It's coming back to bite you in your ass, big time.
Isn't Hearthstone really well received by both critics and the community alike?
Wow I just saw some snippets of this game on youtube. No way in hell could this thing run on consoles without getting severely gimped. I see his point completely now. I have no clue how he's going to market it. This clearly needs a high end rig to run it.
