Sony fanboys are pathetic, aren't they?
I don't see one bit of resemblance between Resistance and Sunset Overdrive. You're using this weird circumstantial evidence to prove a non point.
So many features missing from this game at launch. Bloody hell.
Mexico could work very well and the storyline writes itself. I'd like that a lot. If they're going to leave the 3 main cities then they have to go somewhere with a lot of crime and great storylines that could be written. For Mexico with their cartels, Japan with the Yakuza, and Brazil with their poverty street crimes are the ideal places for another GTA. No other state really interests me that much.
I liked the heist aspect of the fifth GTA a lot. I think the next game should be set in Miami and the theme should be revolved around high end drug dealing and bringing even bigger and better heist missions over from the last one. Also they need to start toying with the idea of having multiple states in GTA. I would love to be able to go on a plane from a plane in vice city and execute a drug deal in los santos. The technology is there.
Another thing they need to work on is ...
Gameplay looks stiff.
Hopefully this month is better than the last 6 or so months. One of the only reasons I still keep my PS3 is because of PS+ and some backlog of games I haven't played yet. If the rest of the year is as bad as the last couple of months I'll just trade in my PS3 to gamestop and take the 100+ bucks and put that towards a PS4 or a Iphone 6+.
I just literally beat this game on PS3 and it's pretty bland. I thought the combat was a nice change of pace in the GTA open world formula that's been around, but everything was so bland and uninteresting. I didn't find the enemies that interesting. I didn't find the detective work interesting whatsoever. The game is ok, but from what a lot of people were saying I thought it would be a lot better of a game then it is.
None of the Halos have flopped.
Thousands of developers? You mean indie devs that very little will make it past selling a couple of copies on steam or any marketplace that's selling these specific games? I don't doubt the product will be good, I doubt it's going to be big whatsoever. I've yet to see the selling point in VR. Right now it's a very expensive accessory that they're trying to pass off as a gaming device. Fact of the matter is you need a OR or Morpheus, a camera, a decent PC or PS4, and ga...
So the average consumer is going to drop down the 250 bucks these people are ball parking right now for an accesory with little to no AAA games being built from the ground up for it? You think mainstream people are going to buy this? What's the selling point? How do I as the consumer get any gain from it that would warrant a 250 dollar purchase on TOP of a camera and a decent PC or gaming console.
Call me ignorant but before I got into real estate I worked 4 years selling th...
I like Carmack Doom, Wolfenstein, and Quake are my all time favorite games. I just don't see how VR is gonna sell. I just don't see the draw in it. It's a niche product at best and even then how many people are gonna drop 250 bucks for an accessory with little to no AAA software to back it up? How many legit AAA studios are going to build games from the ground up for VR headsets?
I wish him and the guys at Oculus a lot of luck, but I don't see any VR selling...
Based off what? Microsoft studios is publishing it.
You and the other idiots that keep saying this do realize that 2.5 billion dollars is off shore money and probably stock options that they bought a company for right? Them buying Minecraft has zero to do with Xbox and everything to do with acquiring the brand and monetizing it to it's fullest. I doubt that 2.5 million even came out of the Xbox budget. And while we're at it many of the top IP's you see in gaming and will see in the future started being xbox.
Ori, Sunset, FH 2, MCC, and now D4. All of them exclusive, all of them coming in the next 3 months, and all are getting glowing previews and reviews.
MS's accountants have already said they will make back the 2.5 billion by june of next year. Besides that the 2.5 billion is from their off shore money that they had to spend to avoid getting heavy taxes.
Because they score individual aspects of the game and then calculate all of those scores to give the final grade. Not too hard to comprehend,
I've never got the pure hatred this game gets. Everything they've showed so far has looked decent to great. That single player gameplay demo they showed a couple of months back looked outstanding. It had the mixture of far cry, battlefield, and cops. I think people are just hating cause they're using the battlefield name and it's cool on these forums to crap on EA.
Despite Destiny being hot garbage, Bungie is on Rockstar's level of popularity when it comes to big name devs. It's them, Rockstar, and maybe Nintendo when it comes to devs that are household names. This was their new IP and first game since Halo reach which was 4 years ago and it was them going back to being multiplatform. This game would've sold regardless.
Looks like a typical JRPG hack and slash rubbish. RPG's are too damn boring.
