The Series X will definitely not run any 3rd party games worse than PS5, they have a slight power advantage again, which has been the only saving grace this gen with the X having noticeably better graphics.
Series X is a terrible name, I agree.
Not sure it’ll hold back 1st party games, time will tell. Other games have done this porting to xbox 360 at the start of this gen, sometimes even with a different dev for the lesser versions.
The 1080p PC gamers aren’t holding back anything because there’s no handcuffs on framerate or resolution. Not the case with consoles. For some odd reason, and I’m 100% talking about online competitive multiplayer games, consoles historically haven’t been willing to give a competitive frame rate to the machine that’s more capable. I also went xbox first this gen due to controller and console exclusives, and bought an X to run PUBG. Added a PS4 pro to catch me up on the exclusives. TLOU2 my most anticipated game 2020.

You are talking like a good portion of PS owners have a nice gaming PC, which is not true. Console Exclusives are still a thing and will continue to be. A lot of people prefer consoles over PC gaming.
"Angers Community" implies the whole community. Sorry, but the title could be better. Most of the gamers that I have talked to enjoy skill based matchmaking, it makes for closer matches.

I think the red lasers coming out of them could be a touch more visable. Other than that not sure what the complaints are. You can use EOD so they don't kill you, or the perk where you can see enemy equipment, or super sprint past them. 3 options to get past claymores is surely enough.

Agreed, I feel they went to WoW graphics for D3, made it look too childish and cartoony in my opinion. Couldn’t get into it. D2 art style was great.

A few months ago you could get up to 36 months of game pass for 1 dollar total. Provided you extended your xbox live gold to that date first then applied the 1 dollar game pass extension. Best deal I’ve ever seen in gaming.
The BR genre just shows it’s nice to have a change once in a while. Certain audiences were sick of Team Deathmatch with heroes/perks for 15 years in a row. I say keep bringing on the innovation – what is the next big thing in multiplayer gaming?
This is a good debate, but do you actually think that devs have innovative gameplay and new features ready to go, and are now going to be held back by this? I mean, the most innovative shooter I played this gen was built by a modder. Feels like you are putting too much power in a few words from Microsoft marketing. Lack of new gameplay and innovation is squarely on the shoulders of AAA devs in my opinion. I’m not convinced any of them have innovating gameplay ready for next gen.
