.. for all that haven't played PUBG yet. Don't worry the real experience should be coming to PS4 this December =)
Blackout guns have little recoil and the time to close in on an enemy is much faster than PUBG. Makes the gun fights very fast and more close-quarters than PUBG. Which makes PUBG feel more tactical simply because you have more time to re-position, and fights are more medium to long range. The console 60 fps is very nice in Blackout, but the graphics noticeably suffer from it. It looks very washed out compared to PUBG, I’m on the One X
That's pretty natural. Take Blackout peak player count this month and tell me it won't be 1/3 of that in 10 months to 1.5 years from now..
PUBG hands down. It’d deeper, the guns all have their own learning curve, positioning is much more important. Any smart streamer is going to switch over to Blackout, where the popularity and money lies. PUBG is less accessible to the masses because it has a steeper learning curve, and the guns don’t all shoot Cod smooth right off the bat.
OMG people he wasn’t actually suggesting all single player games have multiplayer, he was proving a point – why on earth would anyone need to explain this? Lol
Here we go again.. how about hit 60 FPS minimum first and then figure everything else out after that?
PUBG shooting mechanics >> Blackout
I would disagree, the Xbox One X was supposed to be for a nice market, but it is selling very well. The xbox one and PS3 sold poorly because the competition was similar for cheaper.
60 FPS should be priority #1!
Well now I feel like I have to buy the game and play a lot more because apparently i'm missing something ha ha
@Driz.. I played it, I somewhat enjoyed it. I think it’s perfect for people who couldn’t get into either Fortnite or PUBG. It feels like a safe middle ground.
@Neo, LOL. No i'm not a fanboy of Shrouds, and didn't see that. Yes, all streamers are gonna hop on the new thing they must be bored to death playing thousands of hours of the same game. He'll be back to PUBG - it's more of a wide open buggy playground where crazy things can happen.
It lacks the uniqueness and ingenuity of Fortnite. It’s a pretty basic game to be honest. Streamlined optimized version of PUBG, but with the pacing of Fortnite. If Shroud plays Blackout over PUBG for longer than a month I'd be shocked.
The performance of Blackout puts PUBG to shame hands down, but the graphics in PUBG makes Blackout look like a 360 game. I think Blackout will be huge because it’s on the biggest platform. For people with a lot of hours in PUBG, I don’t think Blackout is a replacement or even in direct competition. The slower pace, tactical gun fights, and more emphasis on how to approach a squad and when to strike – I didn’t get much of that from Blackout to be honest. I know I’ll get a ton of disagrees ...
Super obvious question.. Better prices than digital (which is backwards to how it should be), plus trade in value
Thanks
I am curious what is different than last year? What do you do each week after the Tuesday reset?
I am curious from someone who has played this – how does it differ from last year once you’ve finished the campaign? What do you do every week after the Tuesday reset compared to last year?
While I agree with mostly everything you guys are saying, there is something pretty special about PUBG and I’m not sure if Blackout captures that or not. The amount of bullet drop at a distance, leaning, 3rd person view, the way the vehicles handle. There is something about PUBG that I can’t put my finger on, something that has made me play 500 hours of it. The fact that Blackout has such a nice framerate may be what differentiates and over-takes PUBG. But there is nothing new in Blackout...
Saying Xbox has no games on an article referencing PUBG which is not currently available on PS4
It's funny how Dr Disrespect the biggest Blackout fan is already bored with the game. He played PUBG for 1.5 years straight.
